This series isn't a romance. It's not a love story, but a bromance. I don't know if this series is meant to reassure parents, family, and close friends that their children, brothers, or friends are queer. This series is sold under the guise of romance, but it's completely unrealistic. The two main couples act like buddies, like guys who like and care about each other, but not like lovers. This has absolutely nothing to do with a love story, not even the slightest. The guys are 19 years old, almost adults. They're raging with hormones at that age, and I assure you, a straight couple at that age would have sex at every opportunity, kissing and touching each other, sleeping together, and everything that comes with romance. So why is gay love portrayed as something completely different from straight love and nothing like a romantic relationship? This supporting couple, these two buddies, have more erotic energy with each other than the main couples. I don't know, I don't like it, I don't get the message... This is a family show, a show watched by parents... and what? They're supposed to think that if their son, if he were gay, there's nothing to worry about because he just likes his best friend, and that's that.
That's stupid, misleading, and even makes boys feel guilty. They might actually be gay and love other boys, but want more from their relationship than just playing computer games or doing homework together. Hey... I don't get it.
is it true that Kif and Shane are going to break up? this is the only couple that i'm really interested in, and i'm afraid to watch. i don't want a broken heart and i need a happy ending.
If your a gymnast you are basically putting your body on show, and being aware your body all the time. I couldn't…
it's not that he's just small.....it's not that they don't match in height, it's that there's no chemistry between them and the behavior of the smaller one is childish, boring in my eyes.... The plot of this series is too shallow for me to draw me into the plot so much that the appearance of the main couple becomes indifferent.
In short; the kissing scene is unwatchable for me because, as I said, the couple has no chemistry and because of that the behavior and childish face of the smaller one brings to mind very unfavorable associations.
I don't really know what exactly this series is about, I haven't watched previous seasons but.....the main couple is so beautiful. Where can you meet such beautiful people in real life? And on top of that, the contrast, blond and black hair and the difference in skin tones....OMG, these guys are so beautiful! The s.x scene was amazing and kind of spied on, because it looked so natural. I really appreciate them for having s.x without pants...LOL! Overall, a great combination; a sightseeing trip around Japan ended with a soft p..no. I'm waiting for more!
If your a gymnast you are basically putting your body on show, and being aware your body all the time. I couldn't…
......all this may be true but it does not change the fact that these two people visually do not fit together at all and what is more they give a strange feeling (for me) when I look at their intimate behavior. It is distasteful, heteronormative and what is more, as if on the border of pedo....ili. This is of course only my personal impression.
I do partially agree, I would have much preferred someone else as Jiwon, not at all credible as a gymnast, lack…
YES !!It's not that I hate this little actor or anything, absolutely not, in my opinion, he's just not suited for this role. How can such a nerd be an Olympian, and then a gymnast, too? This guy didn't have the slightest hint of elegance or the ease with which gymnasts move. He had nothing of the athlete in him, and on top of that, he looked like a kid in his older brother's pants, not a lover. OMG
I'm probably the only one who sees it that way, but I'll write anyway... In my opinion, the main couple had no chemistry at all. Yes, Kwon is a very attractive guy, a good actor, but that little guy Han ... no... a stony face and big, surprised, childlike eyes. No sex appeal, no energy, just zero, and on top of that, that heteronormative thing so popular in BL, because it would be best if they were heterosexual...
Not my taste at all, I'm disappointed, because the story could have been quite good. Nicely written, but in my opinion, the actor who plays Han was completely out of place.
I agree. I had high hopes for the secondary couple in this series but there is zero chemistry. I know Yoon can…
Whether all three are gay is unknown. Human sexuality is multifaceted, and to like (or love) another man, you don't have to be gay; you just have to be open to the world. LMAO Of course, that's not important and doesn't contribute anything to the series. In any case, Sor clearly gave it her all, crossed all boundaries, and tore down all walls to get those few words of truth out. I don't know if I would be in Jun's shoes with a man like that... unless Jun likes that kind of relationship. The fact is, you can never get bored with Sorn.
I agree. I had high hopes for the secondary couple in this series but there is zero chemistry. I know Yoon can…
Tai......no, I don't think the same as you. in my opinion this character is dispassionate, emotionless.....it's probably due to bad writing of the role but also to yoon's hopeless acting in this series, unfortunately
Jun forgave Sorn too quickly. I mean, I think Jun was hurt and devastated, but I don't think he ever really thought about leaving Sorn and breaking off their arrangement. Jun wanted a confession and he got it, now he's just dragging it out and squeezing as much as he can out of Sorn. Sorn, on the other hand, probably definitely wants Jun all to himself and shows his cards. Ok, I wonder how long this will work. I can't imagine Jun and Sorn turning into cooing lovebirds... I think their dynamic will stay the same even if they decide to officially be a couple.
However, this secondary couple is just awful. I always skip these scenes of intimacy between them because I'm embarrassed. They have no chemistry, nothing erotic about them, just two people forced to imitate a sexual act in front of the cameras. It's unwatchable. Overall though I like this series and when it ends I will miss the weekly Jung Sorn drama.
Of the 5 new actors Mick is the weakest one. Hes on the boarderline of being bad. Honestly it feels like he only…
I also think Mick has no acting talent, can't convey emotion, and is weak. Perhaps his looks suited his role, or perhaps the "name" served its purpose. Perhaps the producers hoped that such a name and its connections would attract more viewers, if only out of curiosity. Mick has weak acting, but the role he plays is also poorly written, in my opinion, as if it lacks expression. This show lacks a bit of fire, a bit of romantic action; after all, it's about first love. I don't feel that at all.
Honestly, it's getting boring. The same old problems and this total understanding of Kit... I don't know. Besides, these are young guys, their hormones are raging, they're in love, but they still act like innocent, clueless elementary school kids. I understand that it's like a family show, but their behavior is simply unrealistic. Parents watch these sweet fairy tales and are then surprised that their children behave differently in real life than in a show like this.
I've only watched the first 3 episodes so far but I can't like this series. What bothers me the most is the contrast between the characters; a little boy acting like a child and a big, strong guy.....it was the same in "semantick error", but there the little boy had a big character and a strong personality so it balanced out the contrast.
personally (this is just my personal opinion) I don't like this heteronormative combination, I can't convince myself to do it.
Besides, the plot drags on like chewing gum and is a bit boring.
Maybe it will pick up pace in the next episodes......?
KitShane seems to have the material for a long-term relationship. I like how they develop together and how Shane slowly discovers his feelings. Other than that they act like a queer couple in school would act; without unnecessary demonstrations and noise.
I don't think we'll get NC scenes from them but I hope for something like that, only more in the teenager version.
I'm not interested in other couples and I'm least interested in KimMoon because they are very childish and constantly moving on the same ebene, they haven't developed and I think it's just a high school relationship that will end when the characters go to college. They are cute, especially in appearance but that's all.
Starting in episode 4, I wished every time Jun would finally say NO! However, Jun clearly has a soft spot for Sorn; I think he's simply in love with him. I don't understand Sorn's behavior, and now I understand it even less. (After learning the reason for this behavior and the story with Maila) It seems to me that Sorn was simply playing with Jun because he knew Jun was too weak to resist temptation. Sorn therefore deliberately controlled and subordinated Jun, even though he knew he would never go further than secretly fucking him. This story with Maila is weak, though. Sorn, so strong and mentally independent, is carrying a trauma from eight years ago that greatly affects his emotional life, but not his sex life. HA HA, weak! I think they could have come up with something better, a more compelling and stronger story.
I assume the series will end with a happy ending for Jun and Sorn, but I hope Sorn will suffer before then, and the suffering over Mali will be child's play in comparison...
I hope Jun actually goes out with a really nice guy from the restaurant in front of Sorn and Win calls Sorn to order! I'm already rubbing my hands together!
I can't believe this, this sex scene in ep 5?!! Lol. And the preview ep 6, it's sad, i thought sun changed for…
Do you think Sun is an asshole and will leave Nu or Su/Nu will break up? Oh, that would be a shame, because the couple has chemistry and I'd prefer a happy ending after all the crap they've shown us on the show?
I know I've read a lot of negative comments about this series, but I have to admit that I really enjoy and like it. Perhaps the youngest couple is the least interesting, but you can skip ahead a few scenes and focus on the main couple. Both leads are attractive and do a good job. The erotic scene was beautiful, romantic, tender, and most importantly, you couldn't tell they were wearing pants! I'm excited to see what happens next and give this series a 9 because I found it thoroughly entertaining.
I just watched the last episode of GB and would like to briefly summarize the series.
It was definitely not a good vampire series. It was clearly noticeable that the budget wasn't the biggest, and they tried to do what they could; some scenes were expensive, so they cut corners elsewhere.
All of that seems unimportant, though, because the most important and best thing about this series are the two main characters.
Regardless of the series' theme, the most important thing is that Joss and Gawin kiss like there's no tomorrow, and they do it convincingly. They flirt with their whole bodies and especially with their eyes, and it looks like they're doing it for real and not for a movie.
The chemistry between them and this erotic tension are fascinating and definitely surpass all the series I've seen so far.
You can tell that the main actors are having fun, that they enjoy what they're doing, that they like each other, and have no inhibitions about showing the passionate love between the two guys.
The best scenes were on the beach, and Joss's picture in blue briefs was heavenly. It's a shame those scenes were so short.
The two boys are sweet, beautiful, and have great figures.
What more could you want?
The last episode was boring, but the sight of Joss and Gawin in suits and blue shirts with nice ties made up for it. And the final scene was very well done. Haha. I love this show in general... you get that, right?
