Title Secret Lover
But IMO it was obvious that Tuo didn't say anything because he thought jun xi don't want to make their relationship…
Junx may not have a clue, but Tuo definitely knows and senses that his boss is interested in him, which is why he's kept his relationship with Junx a secret. That's my opinion.

Title Secret Lover
The first (or rather, the next in line) warning sign went up when Tuo refused to admit that Junx was his boyfriend and not just a friend. Either he was embarrassed and uncomfortable admitting he was dating a man, or he didn't want to admit he was in a relationship because (I'm sure) he could tell Mr. Architect had his eye on him!

The second (or rather, the next in line) warning sign went up when Tuo created a situation where Mr. Architect thought he had a chance at an affair with him. You don't get into that kind of situation when you're in a loving and sincere relationship with another person. You just make it clear right away. Yes, it could be explained that Tuo didn't want to miss out on the opportunity for an internship, etc., but that could mean losing Junx, because a romance with your boss has never done anyone any good. In 80% of cases, you're simply taken advantage of and then abandoned when the situation becomes uncomfortable.
I'm a bit skeptical about Tuo's love for Junx, as it seems more like a desire for exclusive possession than love.
The story will likely have a happy ending, but the bitter aftertaste will remain, at least for me.

It sounds like you haven’t even watched this yet… Did you just watch the trailer and form your opinion on…
While I agree with most of what you said, as well as the cultural and societal context in which these shows exist and are created, I still, from my perspective, simply don't like the two leads together because I think they don't fit together. But that is just my opinion, nothing more than that. And I watched four episodes, started the fifth, but then stopped watching since I had no interest to continue on. The series simply didn't catch or convince me with its characters and storytelling.
As for the shows you mentioned and how they're maybe sixes at best, while that may be true, different shows try to "achieve" certain things, and in some cases their goal isn't portraying something realistic or sensible, but simply to entertain or be outrageous for the entertainment factor of it all, so of course you'd rate a show like that differently than one that is trying to educate or discuss more serious topics and issues. After all, using western examples, you also wouldn't rate Oppenheimer and Captain America the same way even if both might be a four star for you, but those four stars mean different things in context.
And also no, I'm certainly not new to BL, I've been around a while though I haven't always used this platform or gone back to rate things I watched before joining.

Another Japanese BL series where the actors are completely mismatched, but are chosen to ensure the heteronormative narrative works well.
In recent years, we've had dozens of similar scenarios, including "Living with Him" and "My Beautiful Man," and others whose titles I can't even remember.
This series is difficult to watch; it seems very childish, too childish for the characters' ages, and simply boring. I don't know what the BL will be like in this series, and I can't imagine it, nor do I want to.

Hmmm....this was a really long episode that could have been made into at least three shorter ones. It's a shame so many events and information were crammed into this finale.
In my opinion, this is the worst and most absurd episode, devoid of any consequences for the actions and events.

Unfortunately, as I wrote earlier, I didn't feel or see any chemistry between the main couple...all attempts at intimacy and kissing were cringe! I couldn't escape the feeling that these two were also uncomfortable in their roles as lovers. I saw them as brothers the whole time, like Phi and Nong, and I felt such chemistry between them. Maybe they should have gone in that direction? Why this "romance"? I've noticed that when a series is called a bromance, the chemistry is often the same as in a romance. In some "romances," there's simply no chemistry, but they force it into a romance. Why?

Overall, it's a pleasant and sometimes very humorous series...for young adults...but not a BL romance. Sorry.

Title My Sweetheart Jom: Uncut Spoiler
Okay, let's see...Jom agreed to be Yo's boyfriend and admitted that he liked him very much. Yo, on the other hand, confessed his love to Jom several times and tried to kiss him many times, but with little success. (Jom didn't kiss him, just stood there with his mouth closed.) Jom wants Yo as a boyfriend, but in my eyes, he doesn't show any romantic feelings for Yo.
For Yo, it's his first love, but for Jom, it's not...I don't really know why Jom agreed to be Yo's boyfriend because I don't think he really feels anything for him.
I expected it to be romantic, yes, I wanted it to be romantic, but it's not at all, and that's sad.
Yo, this boy tries so hard, not to mention he saved Jom's life and takes care of him as best he can. I also don't know why they introduced Tee and his daughter to the show? Did they run out of ideas?

Generally, Yo and Jom are nice and visually likable, but I don't see or feel any chemistry between them. I see older and younger brother.

I just finished watching this series and I don't really understand anything. Okay, they're Chinese and their homophobia is well-known, so two boys can't possibly be together. I get it. I also get that, even though they're not brothers, they grew up together and share the secret of their father's death. But I don't understand why the older brother, who knew the secret of his younger brother's diary and thus his romantic feelings for him, didn't talk to him about it and instead ran away from the problem?

No, I don't understand this series... I don't understand the older brother's behavior.

I don't like the ending, and overall, the whole series sucks, including those "fake kisses."

Now I'm thinking... eeeee? And I throw up my hands because I simply don't know anything.

They haven't had sex yet. The furthest they have done is the make out scene in episode 10. According to the novel,…
yes, he says he can get me a whole bottle of lubricant.LOL

Thanks for the info. I thought so too, but the screaming in the shower confused me. However, based on my conversation with the doctor and his advice about lubricant, I should have guessed that they weren't that advanced yet.

I have a question about the show's plot. I know we're discussing what happens in real life to those poor Chinese actors (I saw the airport videos, OMG), but I want to know: did they do IT or not? I just don't understand! The translations are strange, even diverging from the Chinese dialogue, so I don't know, I'm lost. I just need this information. You understand me, right?

no, this series is not good in the sense that it is unrealistic and sheds a strange light on queer relationships and queer love. Two guys in love, who kiss on the forehead or on the cheek have no other physical intimacy with each other is unrealistic.....
Such an adult approach to life as Kif and Shane is also unrealistic ....
Generally a sweet series, a fairy tale, fantasy but having little in common with real life in terms of feelings.

Wait when were balls visible?? Lmaooo
ha ha ha, you can really see it. It happens at the very end of episode 7, during the teaser for episode no. 8. There's a scene where P lifts Pan, they're both naked and at one point you can see P's genitals from the side. I hope I described it well. You can also see P's beautiful butt, in all its glory.

my theory is that the main couple in real life is also a couple and these NC scenes are real and both have sex on the set. I know it sounds a bit hmmm....pronographic but I can't find any other explanation for what I saw.....not to mention the testicles that are visible when lifting, which further solidifies my theory. And now you'll say that I'm a pervert or a fetishist, but I'm really not......

After watching P and Pan performing their NC in episode 7, my fudanshi gaydar has me more convinced than ever…
you wrote exactly what I also wanted to write. I love this series as well as the previous ones with their participation. They are so beautiful that I can't express it. There are many attractive men in the BL industry but they are both so special, so handsome and sweet at the same time that it takes your breath away, right? I also think that they are a couple off-screen because they have this mannerism that I have never felt anywhere in any other BL (in off-camera materials too). In my artistic environment I am surrounded by many queer people who have this mannerism, more or less visible. This couple has it, very decent but I feel it .... I am waiting for further developments and I have nothing against us getting more episodes like episode 3 and 7!

If you are watching for nc scenes than this is the wrong show. We are on ep 11 so you should know what to expect…
Menno.....no, you completely misunderstood my comment. It's not about what I want to see or not, it's about the fact that love brings physical closeness, the need to kiss, touch, etc. This is how hetero love is shown, so why is queer love shown so unrealistically? Does anyone have problems admitting that hetero love is no different from gay love? It's also not about showing literally how young boys have s-x with each other, some implication or something would be enough... to make it a bit more real.

Title Boys in Love
This series isn't a romance. It's not a love story, but a bromance. I don't know if this series is meant to reassure parents, family, and close friends that their children, brothers, or friends are queer. This series is sold under the guise of romance, but it's completely unrealistic. The two main couples act like buddies, like guys who like and care about each other, but not like lovers. This has absolutely nothing to do with a love story, not even the slightest. The guys are 19 years old, almost adults. They're raging with hormones at that age, and I assure you, a straight couple at that age would have sex at every opportunity, kissing and touching each other, sleeping together, and everything that comes with romance. So why is gay love portrayed as something completely different from straight love and nothing like a romantic relationship? This supporting couple, these two buddies, have more erotic energy with each other than the main couples. I don't know, I don't like it, I don't get the message... This is a family show, a show watched by parents... and what? They're supposed to think that if their son, if he were gay, there's nothing to worry about because he just likes his best friend, and that's that.

That's stupid, misleading, and even makes boys feel guilty. They might actually be gay and love other boys, but want more from their relationship than just playing computer games or doing homework together. Hey... I don't get it.

If your a gymnast you are basically putting your body on show, and being aware your body all the time. I couldn't…
it's not that he's just small.....it's not that they don't match in height, it's that there's no chemistry between them and the behavior of the smaller one is childish, boring in my eyes....
The plot of this series is too shallow for me to draw me into the plot so much that the appearance of the main couple becomes indifferent.

In short; the kissing scene is unwatchable for me because, as I said, the couple has no chemistry and because of that the behavior and childish face of the smaller one brings to mind very unfavorable associations.

I don't really know what exactly this series is about, I haven't watched previous seasons but.....the main couple is so beautiful. Where can you meet such beautiful people in real life? And on top of that, the contrast, blond and black hair and the difference in skin tones....OMG, these guys are so beautiful! The s.x scene was amazing and kind of spied on, because it looked so natural. I really appreciate them for having s.x without pants...LOL! Overall, a great combination; a sightseeing trip around Japan ended with a soft p..no. I'm waiting for more!

......all this may be true but it does not change the fact that these two people visually do not fit together at all and what is more they give a strange feeling (for me) when I look at their intimate behavior. It is distasteful, heteronormative and what is more, as if on the border of pedo....ili. This is of course only my personal impression.
