I've never read the novel, and even if I did, I still would not compare the novel to the drama. I am loving the build up of each scene. PWX and Li Rong understand each other, they both have the same goals now. However, PWX's jealousy is not going away and It's funny seeing him being petty now and then lol.

Why do I feel like LC actually has a dark side to him hidden beneath that innocent look. I just feel like Li Rong deserve to take over from her father. She seems mature and wise than all her siblings. The 2 younger ones act like 2 spoilt brats but you'd think they would be more humble because their mother was sold into the palace. They way Prince Su took over the Inspectorate's Office and dealt with matters just shows that he will be a ruthless Emperor if he takes over. BUT He is just a kid anyway. As for LC, his sister and her husband seem to be doing all the hard part while he just waits to ascend to the throne. The addition of Mr Cui is refreshing. Just watching him and PWX have a go at each other is hilarious. I think I laughed more at their scenes in the last 2 episodes. That cat calling by PWX had me laughing so hard. I mean he calls Li Rong a cat anyway when he teases her at times. Their chemistry is just wonderful to watch

All in all, I am still loving this drama and I hope the scenes get better. I wouldn't trust Trailer 31 and 32, I am hoping the episodes will be better.

Acting was not bad. The actor/actress will always go on the storyline given by the director. That is not a friendly love look. Zhao JinMai's look of friendly love is way different than that.

I am loving their dynamic. Today's episode, the plot against Consort Ruo. At one point, Mr Cui was so convincing, I thought he was gonna turn on Li Rong. An applause to Li Rong's head of security who is always swift with his infor or investigations for Li Rong. I am wondering which other drama I have seen him in. He looks so familiar.

Same here. Before TPR started, I binged The Double so that I would not go back and forth between the 2 dramas. Now, I am enjoying TPR.

She mentioned her expressions are too modern lol. Did she come from the past and know about their expressions back then? Lol. That comment doesnt even make sense. One comment I read said that she doesn't even look like a princess type. Woaaahh, these comments are outrageous. I think I've watched some cdramas before and their princesses then had bad mannerisms and also were very annoying . Zhao JinMai is showing a privileged princess but a very intelligent one with good mannerisms and a kind heart, my type of princess👸.

A lot of hate came for Jin Mai after she did AASOL with Wulei. With a bit of research on some of this haters, you will be able to figure out that they are cp fans of a previous drama. It's sad though but it happens. She's never had this much hate before AASOL. Her drama Reset got a 9. She is an excellent actress at the age of 21 and I am loving her in TPR.

Everytime i read that she still looks at him, I laugh lol. People are easily botheree by the look but yet they cant figure out the depth of that look. Its straight forward to them that she's flirting or she still has feelings, lol. Even if she explains how she feels, its still not enough because its all about the freaking looks😂

They reply with their negative pov to all the new comers to the drama. Why not let them watch it for themselves. Not everyone have their pea brain point of view.

Li Rong finally sharing her feelings to PXW and also the way they were helping each other go against SRQ with the Emperor. I just hope from now onwards, this 2 can work together and be a step ahead of SRQ. Their chemistry is great and seems natural.

Different pov from people. She's already falling for him. There is depth in these characters and reasons why they do what they do. This also involves politics. This is not a straight forward romance drama where people expect them to fall in love and walk into the sunset.

Thats not it. These are episodes up to 40. Probably dont want the rating to be higher than their favourite drama.
