Comments blaming FL in their 2nd life for going towards sml but dont realize the ML himself told the sml that their marriage is an arranged one and she did the same and told his ex that they dont love each other its an arranged marriage and will divorce later. When he finally tells her he loves her in ep. 11, its too late, the sml knows that they dont love each other so he thinks he still has a chance with her. Im glad hes not coming out strong and trying to hurt her in the process due to his jealousy like some other dramas have. I maybe speaking too soon lol.

Why judge from a trailer alone? Why not wait for the episode to decide why he really was there to bandage her hand? This is not a love drama. What if she is investigating his true motives in all of this. "Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer".

She does tell him as well but not so forward like Mr Pei does. The ML is more open with his feelings to clear any misunderstanding because in their 1st life, it was his hidden feelings and misunderstanding that led them apart. In the 2nd life, i think he is trying to reassure her in a way that he loves her and only her. Li Rong also shows jealousy by the way she reacts to him talking to his ex. But the end of ep. 12, her mirror image or maybe her old self tells her that she must not have any weaknesses because thats what the enemy will use it against her. She thinks her weakness could be love. Waiting for episode 13.

There is so much misunderstanding of the drama in the comments. How about just watch the drama and see how their characters develop. In order to grow, one must be at their lowest. A few talking about LR cheating. I'm just wondering, are you even listening to their dialogues. I've never read the novel but im enjoying this drama. I totally get the build up of every scene. Some want LR to be a good wife, an angel. First of all, shes a complex character, when you understand someone with that character then maybe you will understand her role better. I love how she can stand up to her mother for her brother.

Loving the episodes so far. If you skip scenes, you will not understand future scenes. I noticed that every dialogue and scene matters.

I think in the first few trailers earlier on, the sml also comes back just like the ML and FL. I also watched their explanation about their character.He says that everything he does is to support Li Rong BUT I guess jealousy can change people. Will see.

My first time watching ML in a drama. I think this role was designed for him and my first watching the FL in a colossal drama. They are both killing it. The sarcasm, slight comedy, couple banter, the plot twist, and the emotions is just perfect for the few episodes. The producer says that the biggest character development is for Li Rong. We get to see how she develops in her character, her marriage and also how she manages the power she holds. It's still earlier in the drama, I'm looking forward to this. We also get to see how Li Rong and Pei develop their relationship. I dont think there is any breakups eventhough they have that agreement to separate later on when everything settles.

If youre here for hardcore romance, then this might not be for you.

I have a feeling this is only the beginning to the plot twist.

Unfortunately, haters came to rate the drama. I bet they didnt even watch it or more so they only watched the trailer.

I think they are both handling their misunderstandings well. This is what happens when certain watchers skip scenes and think they understand it. I think every scene is connected to another or if not in the future scenes.

Snooker and billiards is well known in China. I think part of it was that they were trying to promote the sport too. But its in the Novel so its part of the drama.

Ive actually deleted my comments on your post. Honestly, there was no hate there. I only tried to explain the possible reason for the hate messages and to say she was getting the hate as well but unfortunately some pasisonate ZHL jumped pn my comments not understanding what i was actually trying to say. But I do like them together in this drama. I actually think ZHL is good with his character in the trailer and hoping TRP will be great with the ratings. I know youre a proud fan of his and likewise with me for ZJM. Just as you think hes great with his acting, i think the same for her and she also has great ratings for her dramas on Douban. So hopefully TPR will have the same for them.

Great review. I binge watched and still loved it. I guess it was more inspiring for me because it relates more to reality. This drama was also on the list of nominees for the Magnolia Awards 2024.

She has great chemisty her leads. She doesnt have dramas that require major intimacy though, her first was in AASOL. She was only 20 when she did that drama and eventhough, the novel was raunchy, they probably changed it a bit and made it more for the china audience. I also read from the production team view of them that she was unanimously picked by the whole production team including the directors. According to them, she was picked because she was the character herself. It would be interesting to hear from TRP producers and directors on why she was picked for this role because cnetz thinks she is slaying the princess role but only the haters will say shes not🙄. They still stuck in the story of the kunning palace. That was good also but people just need to move on.

Those comments are from the cp fans from Wulei LLTG drama, and its still there. They are still coming st her saying shes ugly, big eyes. I guess beauty is from within and probably it shows and thats what they hate. Her portrayal of Yin Guo was amazing. Chemistry doesn't always need to be physical. A lot of physical was seen in bts later but cut due to censorship.

Its just shocking to read below the comments between ZJM and ZL. How about wait until the drama has aired before judging them. Both have been picked for a reason and I am sure they willdo a great job. If you are fans of either of them, judging them badly won't help their ratings. And the hate to thr FL star, she's good too. Otherwise, she wouldn't be picked for the role. Plus, the hate for her is from fans who love LLTG and wouldn't see her with Wulei in AASOL. That's common with cp fans. As for ZL, he is good as well. Probably judge them after you've watched the drama.
