seriously we are going judge people based on looks? it's 2025 get that mindset out of here
I am not of Stan of anyone, so why would I attack him. I just don’t find him attractive and he’s not like lui you Ning who isn’t cute but has a rugged manly look. He looks like a bug-eyed fish.

There are many good looking Chinese actors. He is not one of them and you’re not going to lie and say he is. He is unattractive and his dramas don’t do well to keep casting him, He must have backing to keep getting these roles.
It was strong while the mother was alive, but once she died, the story falls apart. The female lead—who’s supposed to be sharp—starts acting like a cartoon villain, gloating nonstop and basically handing her father every opportunity to counter her. The authorities can’t spot a frame-up that’s practically flashing in neon lights. And the guy who once refused to cheat on a test suddenly turns evil just because she rejected him? You really have to turn off your brain to keep going with it.
The actor who plays that annoying war demon has the perfect male lead face—not too pretty, but definitely handsome—with the height and build to match. I fully expect to see him leading more dramas in the future.
Up until ep14, and I am probably the only odd one who actually like Prince Hengyang and feel bad (pls don’t…
A lot of viewers seem to like Prince Hengyang—he’s written as a genuinely good person who values family and friendship. He’s not arrogant, nor does he blindly follow the crowd, which makes him stand out. As for Fan Qingchen, I think the reason you feel sorry for him is because of how deeply devoted he is to her. Even though we’re told he’s a bad guy, we haven’t actually been shown much of his wrongdoing, aside from his obsessive and forceful behavior in his relationship with the female lead. There isn’t much reason to truly hate him, so instead of despising him, you just end up pitying him.
How is this so far?Any Triangles?any 2ml syndrome? ( that's a Turn off for me)I do hate the misunderstanding trope…
Heavy 2nd ml syndrome because they have better chemistry but the ml is written as the better man for her so it’s not that bad. Misunderstanding gets clear up quickly. It’s light and fun except for the psycho ex fiance.
What truly sets this show apart is that it’s authentically woman-centric, not just pretending to be. The female characters are intelligent, capable, and take charge of their own lives rather than relying on others to fix their problems. The men, on the other hand, aren’t idealized heroes—they’re flawed, complex, and, at times, frustratingly human. What some might see as red flags are simply the imperfections we all have. The second husband is spineless, the third is arrogant and controlling, and the first is jealous and pedantic. But that’s the beauty of it—these women don’t need saving, nor do they want to be. I almost skipped this show because of the reviews, and I can’t believe how close I was to missing out on something this refreshing.
