pretty good. not necessarily bl (the material they adapted this from was tho) but there was a good amount of skinship to compensate. writing was great, but u might not get the ending/subtext of the last ep if you don't read the manga (i didn't, but i read through a comment here explaining it. not that far to scroll if you really wanna know).
listen... "who can define popularity?" is one my favorite manhwas. but damn they personally did hoon so dirty here. he's supposed to be a tanned man..? why did they cast someone who looks almost whiter than the person playing bawoo? and who tf is hamin, istg we just making up anyone now. the original material wasn't even a love triangle, man... their side stories weren't a lot in the original material but forcing a plot like this for the sake of storytelling just feels so questionable.
but whatever, let's see if they'll be giving a little sum'n sum'n here...
glad to see you here, my sista. true. thai bl has NOT been hitting this year, god fawking damn.
yeah... couldn't get past episode 1-3 for the likes of some of them and just deleted them from my watchlist. just jarring stories/plots with budgets of 28 ducats being hard-carried by men with facecards (to some extent). the only stellar one that i did like was "see your love" though.
only mentioning the chicken date instead of showing it was actually a crazy decision
i feel like its gonna be shown in a flashback for the next episode. but it's so jarring how they only do that for the main couple, when the side couple progresses normally without flashbacking. then again, they did just started to know each other's existence in the present, but ugh, sometimes the flashbacks for the main couple feels like such filler.
hoping the remaining 6 episodes serve and pull the ratings up, like dawg... this cannot be the show that people waited 2 whole years for. all that waiting and fucking around just for it to possibly tank? thoughts and deep prayers.

so many things i deleted from my plan to watch and currently watching list from #that country because i can't even make it past 2-3 episodes max. i just came back here to see how badly the ratings tanked. glad to see it did not disappoint!
It's only the 4th episode what kind of progression are you hoping for this early? I'm fairly certain they aren't…
true but sigh... i guess. i just hope after they get together, they'll still have a lot of time to show off their relationship/dynamic. instead of just having a small "epilogue" scene. such a missed opportunity if they were to follow that direction.

that second sentence... god i hope they don't. that would just make it the same as every other k-bl that never expands on the main couple's future and just shows cutesy moments in the last 10 minutes.
i'm not expecting them to do anything drastic, but by the way things are looking, it's like seungwon still isn't someone significant in heesu other than just someone asking him for dating advice.
