lol you need to add "Hidden Agenda" , "Star and Sky", and "Dangerous Romance" to that list. Those were real stinkers
right. i forgot about those two. i didn't watch dangerous romance because i didn't care about it, and don't care about perth as a person (saint fan, you'd know why after the LBC drama). but looking at the reception of that show... i agree
I know this show isn't the best out there, but Ohmleng have good chemistry, they are hot and they kiss well (and…
it's a bad series objectively when it comes to acting, flow, pacing, and script, ngl. but i get what you mean. that's how i feel with "a boss and a babe" with forcebook; a bad show carried by their facecards and absurdly cute chemistry.
oh this is on it's way to becoming one of gmmtv's best at being one of their worst on their bl catalog. and i've seen 'cause you're my boy & my gear and your gown. enchanté i haven't seen but it's somewhere up there too.
listen, i loved it but everything after the camping episode where they got back to school just felt so draggy. is it really difficult for writers to utilize miscommunication tropes in ways it doesn't feel forced? what the actual fuck, dude. i loved the slow-burn essence the show gave in regards to how kohei's actor portrayed it, but dawg why did they have him pine and yearn for that longgg, so annoying. and that ending scene was so ???, why is taichi back in school? did he quit his job to go back to taking notes or whatever? i understand the choice of wanting them to end up together, but an ending should NOT disregard other major plot points that built up how they got to that point. and do not get me started on maya, her character was just egregious. (and if anyone tries to suggest "reading the manga" or some shit, please move along. i do not care).
overall, 8.5/10 show i guess. maybe it'll bump up to a 9/10 if i rewatch, but who knows? it just doesn't feel rewatchable atm after indulging myself on the draggy last 6 episodes. maybe i'll go back to it if i want to see Nakazawa Motoki's insanely gorgeous facecard again yearning again, or Toranosuke's cute and ditzy acting as Taichi.
I am the opposite and I think Earth's acting is annoying and same old, same old making faces and trying to be…
i mean when we look at the plethora of stuff new and wabi sabi put him in, its always him getting typecasted into one kind of role, but i agree (to some degree); i know my seesta has that flare in him, he just gets all these garbage roles. and agreed, this pair should not be paired ever again ESPECIALLY under a project directed by fuckass new.
if you don't think Pond is a good actor you haven't seen 180 Degrees Of Longitude Passes Through Us. he was excellent…
yeah i havent seen any project he's been in and not interested to watch. but agreed, it's probably 'cause his character is def too laid back and doesn't show much emotion other than being in "boyfriend mode" for easter /:
johan & north, please save this show. hill-easter storyline is as exciting as a jeweler given a bag of rocks at this point. earth's a good actor (can't say the same about pond who's just "all smiles for the camera") but god there's just something off about this pair and idk why.....
i don't really think he saw hyeonho romantically, at all. especially with the part of the call where he said that…
no problem, lol. i also got super confused from this show from start until episode 6 as well, but after watching episodes 7 & 8 i guess everything somehow unraveled on its own
What did dohoe meant when he said I wasn't able to take care of you on the call , did his heart wavered for a…
i don't really think he saw hyeonho romantically, at all. especially with the part of the call where he said that juyeong got to see parts of dohoe that he hasn't even scene despite being already friends for 10+ years in the past. as for the first question, i think he feels guilty since hyeonho was the one who cared for him during the 12 years he was gone, and that he cannot reciprocate at all (maybe because idk he still loves juyeong probably even if his guilt was keeping him away from juyeong)
what secret is Yang Zi hiding in his room that he doesn’t want Shao Peng to enter, is it the fact that he sleeps…
on the last question, apparently he had bone cancer and had a bone marrow transplant & surgery to remove it. cool that they didn't want to hide it with make-up, it reminds of aaron lin like in be loved in house: i do (another taiwanese bl) lol
unrelated but that scene where fengjie was shirtless with the other guy, i saw he had some scars around his triceps. what happened? did the actor get into an accident before?
[nvm i found it, he had bone cancer and had a bone marrow transplant & surgery to remove it. that's actually really cool that they didn't hide it, just like they did with aaron lai on beloved in house :)]
Initial thoughts were good story but bad scenario, bad acting, no chemistry between leads... It was kind of boring…
the second paragraph lmaooo tea. the way series started with MBTI types made me intrigued, but after continuing, it was like an afterthought at that point
