I appreciate the history behind Fan Chang Yu's real life inspiration, and the other details behind the scenes. The Director has my admiration, as I've commented elsewhere. He did a fantastic job, especially with the lighting and camera angles.
If both ZLH & TXW say she worked out hard until she was able to carry him (and carry her role as super strong), then kudos to her for the effort and dedication to her work. Haven't we all seen enough female athletes to know that carrying a man (as slim as ZLH anyway) is not that hard to believe? It's not like she walked 100 yards with him; or the other actress, either. And I remember reading articles about her working out for this a long time ago, so there's no reason to call her or her costar liars.
You know what? I like TXW's acting. And her bangs. The bangs have to stay. And in closeups, you can see some freckles too, on either side of her lovely nose. When she smiles, two cute dimples appear at the corners of her mouth. And how about those huge, dark, gorgeous eyes?? π
TXW's acting in POJ is very powerful, moving, heart warming and sometimes heart breaking. It takes a lot to make me tear up, and she has brought me to tears several times in this incredibly well done series. I hope the Director and studio have a sequel already in the works. The fight scenes are very well done, and the intermittent humor is welcome, too.
I'm now watching some of her previous shows while waiting impatiently for the next episode of 'Jade' to drop. "Wrong Carriage, Right Groom" was actually really good, and also has Bai Bing Ke in it; an up and coming actress who gives solid performances in her own right.
Come award ceremony time, "Pursuit of Jade" should definitely win best cinematography, imho. Love your performances, TXW! Peace and out...β€οΈπΊπ
This show is incredible- so well done I find I'm almost 'squealing' with delight lol...π·. The Director deserves huge kudos, as do our ML & FL. (All the cast is wonderful- we also have Snow Kong, another delightful beauty who is brilliant in this).
From the cinematography to the timing of the actors in each shot; the perfect lighting that sets the mood; the script- were I writing a full review I'd give it 10.5 if I could. The very unique closeup shots (at times) between TXW and ZLH have chemistry through the roof. I'm already hoping they're planning a sequel for this!
Happy belated birthday Bing Ke! And as a gift from MDL for you, would the moderator please give you a new pfp that isn't so washed out? You have incredibly beautiful eyes, and this pic just isn't giving them justice. Thank you Mods if you will do that!
And my small gift to you is another round of well-deserved MDL flowers. πΊπ°β€οΈ
All the best to you and your career with YESS and Rosy, Jie Yi! Bright days are ahead for you, and I look forward to seeing you in whatever shows, movies or dramas you may be in! π
While checking out Lusi's YESS Agency for any news just now, I saw she has three bright talents signed up so far. The last name below was signed on (or at least announced) today, 2.28.26. For anyone curious, they are:
I look forward to supporting and enjoying all of Rosy's agency's acting and singing talent choices as much as I support her; so, just wanted to pass these along. Best of happiness and success to them all! π₯β€οΈ
I'll echo 'Mefranks' just below - I can't relate to those super long expositions further down. I just want to simply say that for me, Guli is: 1). A solid performer who I am (more and more) becoming a huge fan of over time. 2). A rare beauty; one becoming more gorgeous every time I see her in a new show or recent photoshoot. β€οΈπΊ
I'll echo the others just below- please make S2 at some point. This was EY's best dramatic performance ever, (in my humble opinion) and it would be fantastic to have her come back with the rest of the cast and pick up their story. Thank you!
He's a total pain in the ass and even more so for blaming ML for his silly sister's disappearance. Would he rather…
I agree completely, and must say that the drama was really great overall, and never became dull or slow We thankfully got a break from 2ML for a while (Ep. 17 or so thru 20 I think was). But yes, I watched till the end and really did enjoy the series!
I agree with everything you said, but especially the part about Hu Yi Xuan. It's actually my first time noticing…
Yes she does deserve more recognition and love, I agree. I first noticed her in The Blue Whisper with Dilraba and Ren Jia Lun. She played Luo-Luo in that, and I fell in love with her acting and bright personality right away. Was so glad to see her in this!
I'm usually not into comedy-dramas, but this one is really excellent. Besides the great pairing of WCR & RC, I was so delighted to see one of my favorite beautiful fairies; Hu Yi Xuan, is in this. She is such a delight to watch in everything she's in.
The Directors' and Screenwriter's take on the transmigration theme is so different and refreshing! Having two TM's meet and team up at the start is too cool. Just finished Ep. 6 and can only say kudos to the cast and crew, thank you! ππΌπ₯π―

Wow! I don't often read her articles, so I guess you know better than I do. If you do, that's not saying much, because I know very little about Lily's likes or dislikes.
"(I don't mean Lily Alice btw, she's just sending this on down the line)."wtf? Lily Alice is one of the…
Hmmmm...you may be right on one thing. I dislike the title, which is misleading, because she was actually suspected of insurance fraud (which is also fallacious imo). I took the article's title as Lily just doing what reporters always do. But I'll reconsider what you said in your drive-by scolding.
"(I don't mean Lily Alice btw, she's just sending this on down the line)."wtf? Lily Alice is one of the…
I specifically meant Lily didn't have an axe to grind, because I don't think she does, (but I can't read her mind most days). I did say she sent it on down the line, which is in line with your response here, and which is a given with ALL the gossip-repeating columns across social media.
I also heartily defended Jin from the start, so I appreciate (not) you focusing solely on the one negative comment/aspect in my whole commentary, instead of the overall theme of supporting Jin.

Oh, I dislike spoilers so please, no one ask me what this or what that will happen. All you will get is a smiley face, lol. Thanks very much.

I tried the link, but found it goes back to the homepage automatically, so you'll have to enter her name in the search bar.
She seems to be doing more shoots than in the past couple of years...and she looks more beautiful than ever!
