"Rumors surfaced" and "reports circulated" on Jan 29th. Don't you just love these kinds of non-descript sources? Who re-started the story and rumors? And how did "they" find out the fine details unless "they" did some serious digging? Most importantly, why bother?
As they say, "don't start none and there won't be none." Apparently, someone with an axe to grind against Jin started some, so now there IS some- albeit not much. (I don't mean Lily Alice btw, she's just sending this on down the line). At the risk of having a noisy butterfly land on my comment branch again, I'll repeat (paraphrasing myself); that there may have been smoke back in April '25, but that fire was long since put out. Now, Jin was compelled to revisit that scary day and take everyone on an explanation tour.
If a non-celebrity citizen has a car accident, people ask if they're okay then move on. If Jin Chen has one, well...this happens.
Jin, be well and live well, and don't let this get you down.
I was expecting to read that she'd hurt someone else in a two-vehicle accident, then fled the scene or something. But turns out it's all much ado about very little. First time I've heard a single car, self-only injury being called a 'hit and run', but technically I suppose that may be correct. She had to get medical treatment right away, can't blame her for leaving the scene for that. If netizens drive her to blacklisting over this incident, much shame on them! Just be glad everyone's okay and move along.
Dai Si sporting that short black hair and bangs in 'I Am Nobody," so gorgeous! Just started watching the drama and didn't even know one of my favorite actresses is in it. At first glimpse of her in the limo in Ep. 5, I said 'is that Dai Si?!' Such a different character and look for her. The series is quite different, quirky, zany at times but very enjoyable. π₯β€οΈ
That article posted by Fiony just below is a good one. I'm so happy to see Bingbing surging back to popularity. May she have much success, happiness and live very well going forward.
I daresay Binbing's beauty comes closer than any other actress to rivaling my Numero Uno, Crystal Tian'ai. I really hope to see much more of both in the coming years. π₯β€οΈπ―
I'm at the end of Ep. 15 now; and I like a lot of things about this drama. But Fang (2nd ML) has gotten on my last nerve several times lately. In this one, he has approached Mo Fei again at work, after basically being told repeatedly by her to hit the road, Jack! It's truly like harrassment now if you ask me. I want so bad to tell her that the best way to get rid of this pest is to switch the tables and go after Fang 24/7, bugging him to death instead. That could backfire of course. But he seems to dislike all the other girls who fawn on him, so maybe it's the only scheme she can resort to. I mean, he even moved into her apartment building. π§π
Instantly recognized her in 'Love Between Lines,' and thought she looked so beautiful as the bride at a wedding. How great it will be if she is brought back for 'Sword, Snow, Stride 2! Loved her character Qing Niao in S1.
I am totally on board and excited to see they officially announced Sword, Snow, Stride S2. But in addition to ZR, LG (no one can take her place as the Princess in my heart and mind); I want to see one more: Crystal Zhang must return as Nangong Pu She, or I'll be one unhappy fanboy. She played that character so well. I hope she (Pu She) will have trained/cultivated and "surpassed all living beings" by this time, as was predicted in S1.
If some of the actors cannot come back due to filming other shows or for other reasons, I can accept that. But I hope the Producers, Director etc. will at least try hard to get the original cast back on board.
Oh, and one more thing- please use the same tension-building background music, or something very similar. That too is part of what made SSS so intense and enjoyable. Thank you for giving us S2, and may shooting go well an smoothly for all cast and crew! ππ₯

Such a wonderful and thoughtful post from Xiao Ran today:γCongratulations, Mr. Yang, and congratulations to…
Very well said! Xiao Ran's words show again what a consummate professional she is, as well as a very warm, caring and genuine person. The more I see and learn, the more I admire her in every way.
Xiao Ran's more than noticeable- she stays on one's mind and in their heart long after first being noticed. Thanks for posting this Bear Fighting Fan, it was a pleasure reading it! π
All caught up (thru Ep. 7) and am very impressed with the plot, cast/acting, sound backdrop (very important to set the proper mood), and wanted to give kudos to Director Lin Feng. I recently finished Love and Crown and am amazed that Lin Feng directed both, as the two dramas are as different as night and day in, well...everything. (Shout-out to Peng Xiao Ran: you are a brilliant actress, and a class act in every way. I admire how you responded to the book author of L&C)!
All that aside, VOA has the makings of being Dir. Ling's masterpiece, if it continues this way. So far, it easily deserves a 9 (in my humble opinion). π―π₯
I recently saw Peng for the first time in 'Blood River,' and she immediately made a huge impression on me. I'm finishing 'Love and Crown' now, and also like her in that, although the story has some serious problems, imo. So, I've gone back to see what else she has been in, and came across 'Jun Jiu Ling'. I haven't stopped binging since, putting all other shows on hold right now. Peng is absolutely awesome in this. I think this is easily her best performance I've seen so far (and in a very well written drama too). Highly recommend this series to everyone; it's really well done.
She has completely won me over... I hope we see much more of her in main roles in the future.πβ€οΈ
Peng Xiao Ran; I am swiftly learning, is a #1 class act on set and off, and so talented, beautiful, smart (and many other positive things I could place here). Recently, the way she responded to the criticism from "My Queen" author Xie Lounan about Peng's portrayal of CangCang (and other things most know about already) was remarkable, and greatly helped calm down the debate. It displayed her professionalism; and showed how calm she is when things get heated in the comments sections.
For any interested, I recently caught this livestream on You Tube which; at about 50 min in (best part imo), she chats with us from the back seat of her ride, and shares some insights in between taking bites of some great looking dessert pies or cakes:
Sadly, there are no subs with it, but I got a kick out of watching and listening to her. (Still trying to find it with subtitles somewhere, though).
After watching "Blood River", and now continuing "Love and Crown," as well as her livestreams and other events, she's quickly climbed to the top 10 faves on my personal list. Best to you, Peng Xiao Ran! π―β€οΈπ₯
YES and the pics are gorgeous!! I posted on reddit <3https://www.reddit.com/r/cdramasfans/comments/1p16evs/wan_peng_looks_stunning_in_her_new_photoshoot/
Great! Thanks for reposting to Reddit too! Glad you liked them...ππΌπ
Watched the latest post on You Tube Channel "Wan Peng Cookies", and she just took my breath away. A very new, different look for Peng'r that is absolutely stunning! β€οΈπ
So glad to see they've finally announced S2 officially! The only thing, I really hope they bring back Tian'ai as Nangong Pu She, and Teresa Li as Jiang Ni. Years ago, rumors flew that those two actresses would not return. All the other wonderful stars (whose characters survived the 1st season at least) are supposed to be returning. Just heard about this, so will be looking into it more as time goes on.
Here's a toast to whoever gave the green light for S2! π₯π―

She has a good amount of screen time, all things considered, and is an important character. Dai Si would make a great kick-ass girl in a spy thriller, if she is offered and an opportunity. She's so versatile at playing her roles. π₯β€οΈ
The lingering shots of Lusi at times; e.g.: from outside the rear car window looking in at her staring into space (like at the end of Ep. 26) are so...indescribably moving. She's able to pull strong emotions out of me with ease; like no other actress can. I absolutely would love for this series to have a sequel too, like many others are saying.
