I'm not exaggerating when I say that I doubt another drama can top the feels Lovely Runner gave me - at least not for a really long time! twenty years later, I'll still be all words about this one. And I'm going to nudge every single person (who's approachable enough) to watch it.
Never before have I rewatched each episode during the actual run of a drama. Each time I rewatched an episode, it brought out the chuckles, the angst, the butterflies, and every other emotion. It's crazy how much I love this drama - and how much I do not want this to end (although that's an absolutely impractical wish that, in reality, would only lead stories down the wrong trajectory!) But my tasks/deadlines are probably happy to see my undivided attention coming their way soon.
And on that note, happy watching, Subeoms! One more episode to go.
Lovely Runner knows how to make me cry with every single episode! And it's crazy how I love being left in smithereens by it. After yesterday's absolutely mind-blowing plot twist, today's episode stirred my emotions each time they came close, but not entirely... and then the ending.
He does seem a little blank when she mentions Sun-jae, doesn't he?
Maybe she stayed on a little longer, continued to stay vigilant, and in that process, warded off the smokers from the pool? At this point, I think all our theories are gonna get tossed out.
I'm actually very much in support with the writer, this couldn’t have been better....! Even if seonjae Doesn't…
This actually ties in very well with what Sun-jae in the novel tells Sol, something along the lines of how he would have fallen for her even without all the time travel and her coming to him. Someone on twitter had translated this bit last week.
I really liked today's plot twist although it left me frozen, stuck, frustrated, sad, and simply bawling.
If she changed everything, how is she well and not in a wheelchair? Sun Jae is the one who saved her, so if he…
There's no question of her getting off at the reservoir if he didn't have a crush on her and didn't push the stop button in the bus (the reason why he lives with guilt in the original timeline). So, the taxi driver's target would have been somebody else in her place --- or noone at all that day.
I was questioning why the previous time machine watch, Sol could only use it during midnight and recently she…
Oh yes! That is something that many were pointing out as a plot-hole initially. But reading your comment, it just struck me that the time of activation is basically the time of Sun-jae's death. Aaah.
This drama is truly my obsession at this point. It's been so long that I loved a kdrama this much that I wait…
I totally relate with this! I remember seeing the posts both BWS and KHY shared on ig announcing the drama (them capturing a photo of each other). Didn't dwell a lot on it. And then, on the 8th, I get a little curious JUST because it has BWS in it (yeah, I was one of those people who skipped through Namsoon just to watch the villain :')) So, I watched the first episode a little after it aired. And there was no looking back. I was so hooked! I mean, I've never felt this way before. Where I watch the first episode and suddenly start 'waiting' for more. I agree, there's not been one dull moment in this drama. I love the pacing! Everything happens quick. But that does not mean that there's no angst, or that the feelings turn out rushed. And I did not expect myself to love KHY as much as I do now. I really liked her in Extraordinary You. I've not watched Sky Castle. But this drama has just made me see her in a new light. Easily one of my faves now! And I could not have imagined this drama without BWS and KHY in it. It's like they were made for these roles. I'm so happy I decided to watch Lovely Runner! And there are only 6 episodes remaining, which is saaaaaad.
I think the reason why Taesung was in front of Sol’s house was because he knew about the murderer being released…
I saw a post on Twitter that loosely translated episode 9's description (from Tvn I guess) which mentioned that Sun-jae dies this time too, and Sol travels to 2009. I think she'll get the watch from his place, probably with Tae-sung's help to break in.
And on that note, happy watching, Subeoms! One more episode to go.
