Actually if you read the sub correctly, he took the punished to prevent that old king from eating the cure plant. This might be the only episode that YQ will have this much screen time. They pushed it all in 1 ep to explain the plot. For the first 20 eps, his scenes were like 3-4 minutes, and in some ep he was not there at all although he’s SML. Now that drama almost conclude, you will see the leads all the time when JH takes Meilin back.
But I can’t wait for the war. I saw picture that both side become kings so who’s gonna win or is it both? Hope the writer plan it out correctly LOL.

I was filled with hatred when Xiyan old king pushed that plant onto his mouth. And that mean old general meddling in ughh… I need the writer to kill them off now. Yueqin turning dark because of this is a pretty cool twist because this new episode gives off this serial murder vibe like some mysterious drama. It’s very interesting and I actually like it. The Egypt vibe instrument gave the scene more intensity lol. I hope the writer will continue to improve in the last couple of episodes.

Giving up and let her die might be a good choice, but it would be some very bad writing as well as making it a comedy. Maybe that’s why they put some darkness into it. But I finally enjoy the episode so it’s not too bad. This plot kind of gives off that serial murder we have in some Hollywood series, pretty cool!

Honestly, for this plot so far, there’s no other way to save her. No offense but if I were him, I would just let she die instead of finding the right blood by killing others lol. You know, it’s better to be unfaithful than being sinful 😂

I’m mean can someone just kill that Xiyan king so that he know eating that plant won’t let him alive forever? Why the f*** must he put his son into this? Didn’t he already suffer enough for not having the love of his life? Why did he have to be the bad one now cause of his stupid father? Ughh

Just watch it lol, it’s pretty good plus you can quickly get over the burden. The next couple of episode after this will have a lot of ML & FL for you lol. Spoiler though, I’m not sure if I should blame YQ for turning dark but for some reason I can understand why. At least they showed that he has tried his best to stop the father. His greedy father really the most horrible father ever. This is weird but I hope YQ will end that old man’s life (ok too violent) but maybe someone should do it cause that old king is avaricious!

That cure flower can only grow in Xiyan. Plus, even with the condition, he still let her choose, but Meilin decided to leave ML herself. They have to wait for the cure flower to grow then he will give her the freedom. AND, they want ML and CP to fight like a duo without anyone meddle in, that’s why they write it that way. Only see the fault in other and the present but forget everything else. Haizz no wonder this drama keep get rating down. The scriptwriter is definitely YQ anti lol.

Okay so I have a feeling that YQ going to let Shamman kill some others in order to save the FL. Some will blame him for this but do you want him to let FL die? Cause there seems no other option for this particular drama. It is started because of that big general and his father took the flower without him knowing, and we can clearly see that YQ got punished while he lied to his father and ask him to return the flower. It is whole mess with the dying now because of the poison that FL had which was given to her by ML in the first place (but I guess you will let this go since he’s the male lead). So everyone, including YQ has tried their best in everything so none should be blame. Let’s just wait and see how things will turns out.

I have a feeling that YQ have something to give FL that could help her cause he said, “Let me see her, I beg you, I must see her.” Usually these words means that there’s a solution but if they scriptwriter just want to put some sh*t by making him doing nothing, then it’s some very terrible writing.

That was just my assumption based on what every body “already said” on here many times. It might not be true.

lol there’s still a ton of important scene of ML and FL left so it’s not yet the end. There’s war coming and Fl die and marry to ML and other stuff. If they wanted to promote BWJ, they would have giving him a better character’s description and upload behind the scenes of him. I feel like they just want to put the conflict on Xiyan now and have the leads significantly involve in it, but due to bad writings and deleted scenes of YQ (saw stuff like this on Weibo) the conflict switch seems very bad and confusing.
