There are so many worser SML in other dramas yet y’all just ignore and rarely attack them.
But why keep on attacking BWJ for playing this role? And even come here to comment about the smallest thing SML did…Is it because he’s handsome that making yall worry about something else or someone else? hahaha common he’s actor anyway, playing these roles are fun part in their career. It’s all a “drama” and nothing is real, I never take such thing seriously.

Actually in China Bi Wenjun was the one that got praise in this drama. He fit this role perfectly and almost exactly to the novel’s character. This drama is pretty good compared to other modern drama nowadays. Considering the fact that this drama is actually a low budget one so the outcome is better than expected.

* It’s a level A drama but have a rating of level S. So that’s pretty good!

lol you’re not the only one. I also feel that the FL is a bit too much. Her behavior is nothing different from his mother, mentally tormenting him no matter how much he’s trying to coax his wife. FL is self center and making everyone around her treating her like a queen. Isn’t the ML childhood suffer enough? Can they give him a wife that could give some gentleness and understanding? And I hope she would stop mocking him by saying he’s close with his mother or if he’s a momma boy.

This show is so good idk why it’s so low here. And I also just found out that this show mostly stay in top 3 on the Chinese website of most recent dramas. It’s a good one for sure

I think the one with Zhang Yuxi is true because both of them already flew over to Xiamen, which according to the rumor is the location to film the drama. There should be a booting ceremony soon 😃

I’m not here to make people praise Xiyan arc. I don’t even care if people like Xiyan arc or not. I also don’t care about how this drama going. What I wanted to do is clarify the things that was wrongly said about the actor. I didn’t even started the fan war or anything relating to it. It would have been peaceful if you did not mention the actor name and blamed him for the additional scenes. When it is clearly the script writer that wrote the dramas. If those scriptwriters are in favor of him, instead of giving him more scenes, they would have made his characters relevant or more likable.

Don’t accuse the actor of something he didn’t do. You’re not in his fandom and don’t see every of his activities so you will not understand. He’s one of the actors who made a lot of money for his company, yet in his past project, that stupid company NEVER gave him any appropriate promotion. They gave all the good drama and roles to other actors, so do you think they would do anything for him in this drama when he just plays the sml?

Plus there is NO information regarding that his management hires those scriptwriter to add scenes for him. Mostly would be HATERS who made up stuff to prevent others from liking him. If he wants scene, why don’t he just go act as a male lead in his own drama just like he usually does? Why must bother being a second lead? This is because he said he wants to try new roles to gain different experience. You said that I’m a die hard fan, but it’s you who’s attacking the actor and defamation him without proof. This place is use for talk about the drama and the characters, and not for you to make up stuff and talk trash about the actors. When you started to mention the actor, I realize that it’s more bias and opinions talk.

The scenes that were deleted were scene that connecting his character to the storyline. When they deleted those scenes, his character are disconnected to the plot, which giving more disadvantages over advantage. Y’all said that Xiyan arc is long, but aren’t the leads still play many scene during those time? It’s called Xiyan arc but it doesn’t mean that most of the time you will see YQ.

Put the blame on the stupid writer who doesn’t know how to write a good storyline. I rarely see him in the first 20 episodes, and then when he finally has an episode to himself, people say he has too much screentime? This is the writer's fault, they don’t know how to distribute screen time appropriately throughout the drama.

I’m not here to argue. I simply check back to this page just for fun to see how everyone is doing. I have had enough of people talking trash about YQ but that’s still okay to me cause it’s just the character and the stupid writing. But accusing the actor (bwj) for the additional scenes is another story. Even if I am a new fan of his, I know what’s right and wrong and what’s true and what’s not. Anything that relating to his management doing with this with drama is 100% MADE UP by haters and his anti.

The writer is the problem and not BWJ. In his interview he said that he wanted to try antagonist role for once, like an actual bad one, but this one is not fully antagonist so it has not fully satisfying him. Turning him into a protagonist is not even what he wanted and you talked like his company seeking screen time for him? LIKE FOR REAL? The first 20 episodes his scene were like 2-3 minutes in each episode, and when he finally got 1-2 episodes to himself then y’all complained? He played leads for so many drama before, he deserves better than this!
How does the writer favor him when they put all the blame and the bad things being done on his character? Have y’all forget all the suffer that ML put FL through at the beginning? The writer switched it off and just put all the faults on YQ in the end. How does this kind of writing in favor of the actor? I just don’t see it. No offense tho, just my pov, wants to give the actor his justification.

This is NOT true. Most of his scenes are already got cut out and most of them are important part that connect his character to the storyline. They cut it all out to prioritize their leads so do not say that he has a strong backer who paid for more scenes. Because this is the same as accusations and defamation since they are made up without proof. He himself has been an actors with lead roles for years. Some of his dramas are even higher rated than this one. He deserves better than this!

I know 😭 Bi Wenjun is such a good actor, and he’s also very handsome. The leads' chemistry is incredible too. I found out that he can build good chemistry with many of the actresses he worked with.
