definitely. the vibe there was built up as a chefs kiss. stuff not being said but clear as day. i liked them better in the book than being over dramatic and pushy and being a situationship (which is not ok in my dictionary) in the drama..

what we are missing is the information from the book that the ritual was not native to Thailand and her ghost was taken over and trapped by other entity and she and her daughter were just marionettes to that diety (a bad one obv) - I dont know to explain it properly, but that ghost was not his wife anymore

and him just running around with a piercing wound in the leg just taking fever meds. like. thats not how it works 🤣

watch it during the day, it helps a lot - i hate horrors etc but im watching this one as its a realky well done and worth it ;)

the show is different, i have read the book, but the third one isnt one of the yt kids? there should be 2 more ppl we are familiar with and some randoms xD

beware of the jump scares, unfortunately they are mostly well done - so if you are of a faint heart (like me) i have been watching it during the day while squishing a pillow 🤣
