Questions for those who watched the whole first season (spoiler alert ⚠️):After reading spoilers from people…
i read the novel, after i watched the 1st season. as per my interpretation of directors action 1) agreed 2) i think the second one. scared af. 3) awake, pretending :D
Someone who watched the original, please tell me if this is worth watching. After the failure of an adaptation…
i loved the original. like one of my favs. i had mixed feelings because well, when you love something so much the remake has super high expectations that are kinda hard to let go off
after two eps- kids and dads casting on point. still trying to get used to the high school kids/grown ups
and well they adjusted already some things to korean style/culture - which was an obvious thing that will happen but somehow not a fan… i hope they will keep the lvl of good acting and dont mess too much with the general flow of the story

i have not read thr novel, so its my assumption, that he figured out his feelings after seeing teachers kiss. like it clicked for him that he can be attracted and in a sexual way too to a guy. with being in the same class he was 24/7 with JT i think his idea was to put some distance so he can do his best to hide behind “ge” relationship.
I didn't hate the last episode as much as I thought I would, but I still didn't like it. The acting in this series…
from my perspective it was. he figured it out what he likes. or rather who. he got scared of lossing what they were able to build till now, also the “family” part too, thats why is hiding behind the GE part. the decided to go back two steps back instead of risking it when confessing and not knowing how JT feels (pretty obv how he feels, but if you are messed up emotionally and have a abandoment issues its not easy to see)
No ending at all lol.People will keep selling you on a slow burn - there isn't any burn here just hopes a 2nd…
depends on what is closure to you. them being together? than a no. figuring out what they feel? than yeah. i think its a beautiful portrayer of feelings, realization and doubt. if you are just into the NC scenes and skin ship, hot quick dates - there’s none of those here so dont waste your time frome the starter ;)
the break up was unnecessary though, but still, i love this series so much 😭
what really bothered me in that breakup is they never tackled why Mhok did what he did and if he managed to deal with that stuff. Because yeah, it might have been needed but from my perspective fully unresolved thing that could have been resolved by having a really hard, but necessary conversation
Yup, exactly this - and with the acting range of OffGun, well in my opinion they were just there to pull in the fandom for the YT views... as much as I adore Sea for example, just like you mentioned that whole thing was unnecessary imho
True, not comparable when it comes to the topic of lvl of being “light” but I think the guys had more possibility to shine and show their skills in Not Me. I kinda felt here that they weren’t really the leads..
to some point maga is the same, until Taichi figures out his own feelings
Manga currently has 7 volumes I think, so even with 12 eps it's hard to cover everything. Specially with the fact that the Japanese can do a 12 ep series based on one volume manga xD

but i do get your frustration here honestly
