I think I liked it?
Nah, Im sure I liked it... at the time. But again, to be honest, I do not remember a thing. I watched this after that banger of Ashes of Love, expecting another xianxia masterpiece, but it was lacking in various parts. Here's what I wrote at the time:
UPDATE: Well... I'm finally done. The last couple of episodes did have me in tears however, I think this show deserves no more than a 7 because of the ending but I cannot bear to give it a low rating after all the happiness I felt in the first half of the show. I loved this but the ending felt very rushed so I will be changing my rating from a 9 to an 8.
Sooo, I’m like 3/4 done w/ the show and gahdamn the men in here is fine asffff esp Xuan Ji and Cinnamon ifykyk… you guys have my heart <3.. anyways, love the story plot, very interesting and funny. Character dynamics is PHENOMENAL.. they all have their own traits that I absolutely love abt them… I will make an update as soon as I finish the show, which I’m low key scared to cuz ppl say it’s not a happy ending :( WOULD RECOMMEND SO FAR
