I find that most of the kdrama actors and actresses look unnatural, hollow, and unattractive in my opinion, with that uncanny valley look when plastic surgery goes too far. On the other hand I find that most of the Japanese actors and actresses look natural and attractive, like good looking regular people, without the obvious plastic surgery or tons of makeup. What is attractive about them shines from the inside and in turn illumines the outer shell, rather than focusing on the outer shell and a hollow inside. There is a humility in being natural. Anyway that’s why I stick to J dramas.
