By the way, I think I quite understand why CZY chose this project, because of the male lead character. The emperor role in YTY is actually interesting.
His choice seems to align with his career path, from Prince Feng to General Tang to this Emperor, each with a different character setting.
Looking at it positively, he’s not sticking to the same type of role but is constantly challenging himself and trying to grow.
He’s the kind of actor who even cut his hair into an undercut just to take on a challenging role in Light the Dark. He’s clearly not relying solely on his good looks and pretty face.

As fans, all we can do is support his choices. That’s it.

I’ve been dying to see my Prince Feng ever since I saw the first-day shooting photos last year 🤣🤣 I can wait a little longer.
I think it might be released in August since they’re currently seeking investors.

It’s still not confirmed, we’ll know for sure once it is.
Nothing can be guaranteed in advance in this C-entertainment world 🙂 some things are just rumors to test the market, while others require negotiation before being announced.
It’s also too soon to tell because CZY still needs to shoot the current project, which is already surrounded by controversy even before filming has begun 😅

Being a fan of CZY on Chinese social platforms can be tough, you would end up encountering stuff like this every month or quarter lol.

Instead, every project he's been in ends up stirring controversy around him. CZY’s journey hasn’t been easy, and sadly, his own agency has been one of the biggest obstacles in his path.
