By the way, I am totally against dramas that aren't 16 episodes or more, but this one should have been eight episodes at most. It’s just the exact same problem over and over again, so redundant, everything. No, no, no, no

The reason this K-drama is doing so poorly right now is the female lead. I honestly can't think of anyone more bland, disgusting, selfish, traumatized, toxic, and psychopathic. She evokes zero empathy from me, zero understanding, zero anything.
Just when you think you might feel a tiny bit of sympathy, it's still no excuse. Her struggles with depression don't make her innocent of all the terrible things she's doing. It just doesn't. That’s where she loses me completely. Go to therapy, stay away from those people, get out of there already, honestly, I can't stand her!
I'm done watching. I’ve reached my limit. Once it finishes airing, I'll just watch a summary and call it a day, because she's just repulsive. There’s no way. There is absolutely no way she can pull off a redemption arc or turn things around. I just can't.

Realistic ending prediction anyone? Cus i am baffled atp.I still lowkey want the leads to work their way back…
Totally agree with you! I hate the lawyer with a passion. Like, sure, the chemistry is there, we can all see it. But if you know she is depressed and already in a long-term relationship, why on earth are you still pursuing her? He is completely preying on her vulnerability and indecision just to get her to choose him, and it is so frustrating to watch him manipulate the situation.
As for a realistic ending? My prediction is they definitely are not getting married. Realistically, he is the one who is going to draw the line and say enough is enough. He was literally forced into this whole crazy setup of spending a month apart with another woman just because of her. Let us not forget how warped this whole premise is, because the female lead basically told the lawyer "let us just be together for a month and see what happens," while the male lead had to force himself to even be curious and try it out just to please her. Honestly? Gross.
And honestly, I have lost all empathy for her. Her depression does not excuse her actions for me because the moment she cheated on him physically, after already doing it emotionally, and then, when he found out, she literally threw herself at him and tried to blame the male lead? No. That was rock bottom. From that point on, I lost all respect for her. I do not want them to end up together unless she hits rock bottom, goes to therapy, and spends the next 10 years crawling on her knees begging for his forgiveness.
Both of them are a total mess and destroying each other. He has this awful, toxic dependency on her, and she is just self-destructing while dragging him down with her. If by some crazy chance they do end up together, it hurts for him, not her. But realistically? I just need him to finally stop being a simp, walk away, and let it end.

Title A Love Other than Yours Spoiler

Right?! Total agreement, I am right there with you. Honestly, it would be so satisfying and ironically hilarious if the cops just hauled him off to jail right now, just to get him completely out of the picture. His dialogue gives me the absolute shivers—that whole "stay with me, with me you'll be fine, with me you'll be happy" routine while heavily pressuring a girl who is clearly depressed and vulnerable is just gross.
Honestly, the second female lead is the only one I actually feel empathy for. She knows she fell in love all on her own and that he's not into her. And she's stuck in a relationship where the male lead is literally forcing himself to stay just to please the female lead. Like, look at the difference in how they pitch it: the female lead proposes to the lawyer like "yeah, let me stay with you for a month and see what happens," while the male lead is just out here like "I'm forcing myself to be curious, let's see what happens in a month." It's so messed up !

completely done, but honestly? Impossible. Clips are all over my FYP no matter what, so I always end up spoiling it for myself anyway. I swore I was gonna wait it out because I cannot stand the cheating trope, it’s so ridiculous and unnecessary, like that is literally not why I watch shows. Yet here I am, tuning in anyway.
At first, I thought for sure it was gonna be him, but he literally admitted from day one that she still makes him feel things and all that. Fine. And yeah, he didn't tell his coworker where he was, like I said before, but sometimes it's not even emotional or physical cheating, it's just her. I get that she's super depressed and everything.
And don't get me started on the lawyer. I actually kind of like his character, but it pisses me off how aggressively pushy he is with her. He knows she's taken! Like dude, what is actually wrong with you? It's not your business, I swear I just don't get it. That’s the exact moment I disconnect, when a guy is relentlessly going after a woman who is committed and clearly going through a depressive episode. Honestly, it feels like he's preying on all her vulnerabilities just because there's chemistry. He knows she's in a relationship and struggling; wanting to help is one thing, but you're low-key weaponizing all of that so she ends up with you.
Meanwhile, she’s doing full-on physical and emotional cheating. She’s literally forcing him into this insane setup where she spends a month alone with someone else just to see what happens. And he literally says it, he admits he's not even doing it because he wants to, he's forcing himself to be curious. Why? All for her. Everything for her.
I'm sorry, but every single character in this mess is toxic. People keep saying it's so realistic, and sure, parts of it hit, like the self-doubt and realizing life isn't just black and white. But it gets to a point of pure absurdity. No sane couple in a 10-year relationship goes, "Hey, let's live with different people for a month and then see if we want to stay together." Like, no! At that point, the relationship is already completely fried.
Yeah, she's depressed, I get it. But the way people excuse her actions while dragging him for not noticing she was struggling? Look, people genuinely miss those signs sometimes. It's happened to me. I've had partners who had no idea I was hitting rock bottom, and it wasn't because they didn't care or love me. It's called masking.
Oh God...

I am a total mess right now. I’m literally sitting here sobbing my eyes out over this drama. I just cannot understand how these people could let this happen.
How on earth is it fair that the male lead is the one who has to leave the company? All because his piece of garbage business partner decided to pull that dirty move on the exact day she knew his father was in critical condition. And for what? Pure resentment because he didn't love her back. There was never a single spark of romantic feelings on his end, it was strictly friendship. But she gets completely enraged over being unrequited, and then he just goes and forgives her?! Meanwhile, he has to walk away from the very company he created. No, absolutely not. I’m tearing up again just thinking about it. Thank God the female lead is a 10 out of 10, because the rest of this is driving me crazy.
And don’t even get me started on the other storyline. The marketing coordinator tried to resign like two times before. She talked to the guy, he knew, and he explicitly told her, "Don’t leave, we’ve built this company together over the last 10 years." But then, what does he do? He pulls the ultimate trash move. The second he finds out she is pregnant, it's suddenly: "Oh, you're pregnant? Yeah, I don't need you anymore."
Are you kidding me?! That is completely unforgivable. I am beyond furious. I am mad as hell and absolutely done with these toxic betrayals.

No one could make me dislike her; the fact is, all this happened to her because of her husband, you see. Don't get married

Title First Lady
I just finished chapter 6, and wow! I don't care if she does something wrong or messes up everything; I just want her to win! I'm sorry, but that woman has suffered so much. Yes, she's done bad things and is a morally gray character, but I need her to come out on top, to send her husband to... Well, I don't really understand what her husband is doing or what the so-called president is doing—"president," my foot! Seriously, at what point does he stop trying to save his wife? Save her from what? He should just talk to her! In the end, he's not doing anything useful, and that secretary... she makes my life impossible. Every time I see her, I want to throw something at the screen!

I absolutely love the actress who plays the wife. She's incredible! Even if her character killed someone, I’d defend her. First, because she's a fictional character, and second, because the actress nails the role.

Now, about her brothers—they obviously hate her. And that other woman, oh! Whether she’s a lover or not, the guy is hiding something from her about... well, he knows her identity and has kept that from her. So, as far as I'm concerned, she should unite with her daughter and screw over everyone who’s against her.

To those saying she uses her daughter as a hostage, I completely disagree. She's not using her as a hostage! Why? Because the daughter knows exactly who her mom is, and despite everything, she's been there for her through thick and thin. She's her mom, and of course, she’s going to choose her.

As for her dad, just look at him—he hasn’t even sent a message to his daughter after all that has happened, not even an apology. So let him be.

I want her to win, and I really hope the lawyer doesn’t betray her. He probably will, but I sincerely hope the writers have come up with something amazing to make her and the lawyer stand together against the world.

I’m so upset. Why not sit your wife down and explain properly why you want divorce and how it will help you…
The secretary is so bitter, she got where she is because of something she's not even good at. Bitter because SHE'll never be the first lady. Excuse my French.
