I don’t understand why people are saying the drama suddenly “turned into Squid Game” or that it’s copying…
Plus, not only did it shows how unhinged and psycho type of person An Yohan is but also that how much powerful and how good his connection are that he is able to bring prisoner out of the prison and make them play games just for his entertainment. And moreover, we got Taejung and Yohan first encounter, Taejung escape and most importantly those prisoner who used to abuse Taejung in prison dead without him being held responsible for killing them and him destroying that game while escaping just gives Yohan a teaser of what Park Taejung can do and will do to him in future.

As some who has watched fabricated city not only once but multiple times this drama still manages to keep me on toes and not feels boring and if you want me to draw comparison between this drama and the movie.. Then.. That it has the similar plot point that a man is framed and there is some one who framed him but the main difference is that Park Taejung is not Kwon yu and become of this fact the people around him are different and how he handles different situations are also different.. So yes, I do recommend to check out the drama..
Just the fact that Park Taejung not only did he escaped,in the most hottest and sexiest way possible but along with that not only did he killed off his one set of abusers aka his prison inmates but also gave An Yohan a teaser of what he can do, is the biggest slay of this drama...

2nd the old man says that he missed his 'timeslot to visit' and not that ‘the visiting hour was over’ to which the officer reply ''come I will arrange it for you ''.. but the old man refused and say he will come tomorrow.. [To meet the prisoner you have to go through some procedure like filling a form and then you get a "Timeslot". So, the old man missed his timeslot not that the visiting hour were over.
