No matter how abusive the spouse is, no way this should lead to an affair. These type of Dramas are complete trash that glorify Cheating by making other party look worse. She could have started her relationship after getting a divorce. When she started to feel romantically attracted to the doctor, she should have asked her Husband for a divorce. All seems fair in the name of women empowerment. Trash Drama.

If the roles were reversed, I think the female lead would immediately find someone else, if she had an insecure and selfish boyfriend. In most cases, we only see what we want to see. When female leads are plain wrong, we try to justify their actions with excuses like insecurities, insufficient attention, etc and we immediately vilify male leads with their slight misactions. In this drama, He deserves a better woman who truly loves and supports him.
