the story is all good 6/10 it's not something I haven't seen before... I'm tired of the hidden identity of revenge…
The main thing is - 1. Even though FL is ditched by her husband.. she recognizes and embraces her feelings for XH. 2. The revenge plot lines for XFF or redemptiom arcs for JL are being handled and wrapped up cleanly in 2-3 episodes and not being dragged. Just feels like you dont know what is upcoming next (like CSI Investigation shows 😅) 4. FL being smart and ML and FL being unconditionally supporting each other. No blame game.. just supporting eachother.. 5. No excessive drama like her identity being revealed so early and then being recognized as XFF. The moment she assumes JL's identity.. she became JL. Her villager friends call her JL. Nobody calls her XFF. JL's maid recognizes her JL. Her father knowing she is an imposter.. recognized her JL. Everyone knows she is not JL but still she has been recognized as JL. 5. Best cinematography 6. Even with no kissing scene.. there is intimacy.. shown with eyes and dialogues. For the first time I am not waiting for any kissing scene but their intimacy via "tacit understanding".
I have dropped so many shows before because either the FL is overacting or stupid or even she is smart.. she still blunders..
After you are my glory, love me love your voice, hidden love where I have seen FL know what they want and stand up for themselves.. this is the first historical show I have fallen in love with.
Even with 11 yrs of age gap between ML and FL.. the portrayal is so amazing that you forget any biases and just enjoy them.
Rewatching ep 24 and just confused.. does SYR know that JL is XFF when she calls him pathetic? I rewinded that several times to understand the context but still confused.
I am already fangirling BWS.. and now WXY.. Whats next for me? I am already being drawn to younger men.. if only my husband comes to know 🤣🤣 i really need to sleep. Waiting for tomorrows trailer..
Seems like that. Would be a good tight slap on JL's father who abandoned his real daughter...and even now he is doubtful. Doesnt care at all if his real daughter is dead or alive..
