You are not alone... In every drama, I hate delulu second leads ,be it male or female,if they tried to be third wheel between ML and FL . And many a times,in mainstream dramas ,it is a 2nd ML trying to put discord (and FL just leaves him without firmly stopping him or reprimanding him,and takes hard action only near the end). While if it is a female 2nd lead who is following the ML,in most cases, ML just thrashes her and protects FL from the beginning.In some cases,the 2nd FL may also put discord and make FL misunderstand,but it clears faster than ML's misunderstanding. I don't know why is this imbalance must be there... Anyway, The cunning 2nd leads are just used to drag the story and over complicate it. Here Situ ling is not even a threat ( cause ML and FL are clearly a thing),still his approaches sometimes annoy me and make me punch him back to Gulag. As a person ,till now he is helpful,still his delulu irks .

I think Golden Millet Dream should be like a matra or sutra that needs to be cultivated.The bottle in the spirit well must be a deception,it seems to me. Cause in the initial eps,where the first person JBZ had imprisoned (Ruo shuo's father) after he had asked JBZ if he has cultivated golden millet dream . This gave away his identity to JBZ as others used to think that GMD is something to be eaten ,but he was the first person to use the word "cultivate". It's just my theory.I haven't read the novel.Just watching the drama.

And her intruding into ML's secret is life threatening for him.He also trusted someone for the first time.If anyone knows about him possessing milet dream and its location,all of the 6 realms will be tracking him to kill and steal the millet dream.ML was nearly branded a traitor when FL identity was about to be disclosed.Still he stood with her and protected her with her life.So she ought to help him as he saved her many a times. And I am just stating a fact .
