I fully agree ! LH rlly got the guts saying it should have been her when Harry was the one who went in the fire to get YM out. And mind you, YM didn't even know Harry was DLR and LH son when they became friends and Harry is the one constantly sticking to her and not the other way round. I mean yes JX did bring Harry into the mess but as JX said, it's for Harry's good for him to know what his parents are doing.

And I know they might take the more realistic route and that's why YM hands DLR all her shares to save people around her from going through more dangers but her saying take it all and don't disturb me anymore is like ?? If he has the shares, he will definitely still be entangled.

I stopped at episode 20 and haven't watched yesterday's episodes yet since I saw the trailer for ep 24 and I want to wait for it so that I won't be having to wait for the next episodes in anger.

I hope they give DLR and HG an ending as horrendous as what they have been doing to the people around them and suffer behind bars

DLR is actually making me suspect if he has other women we don't know about yet too. But the hidden camera in WXX house is going to expose YM quite a bit. I'm scared for her honestly, especially when she is home alone with Hui and DLR. Every second give me a heart attack lol.

I'm really liking the realistic-ness of the drama though, at least compared to other modern setting dramas where the MCs know almost everything and are always one step ahead. Here, they work through many different possbilities just like how we would irl and also they don't immediately get their hands on the clues but rather they are getting the clues through butterfly effects.

I'm also loving Chang Hua Sen in this drama, first time seeing him in a modern drama but the role he has here has this kind of 'aura' that I really like, like he isn't a stone-faced lawyer like most dramas show but he isn't and all buddy buddy kind of lawyer like I have seen in some dramas (like even though they are strangers and not friends or something), he has a personality where he jokes lightly but is also professional. The only one complain I might have is that he looks quite young for a professional lawyer but I keep forgetting bro is almost 30 and he just has a very youthful face ahahah,

I think I'll let this one marinate until the half mark or until aroung 19-20 episodes comes out cus I definitely know I'll not able to quell my anger (esp bcus of Jundai and other scheming palace women who are just pure evil without a reason) and frustration if I watch it while it is airing from the first episode

Exactly! They all twisted though. I also don't understand how YM almost immediately sided with WXX after finding out she was his mistress. If it were me, I don't think I could ever be buddy buddy with homewreckers, especially those who show no remorse whatsoever. Like now she is even in the meeting between YM, the best friend and JX, I was surprised to see her there too.

As for DLR, I totally agree with you. It's so obv that he no longer loves Hui. I would even say he actually has some feelings for YM just like Hui said, from a third person POV, if she didnt know him personally, she would have thought he really had feelings for YM. Also during the flashback, when YM first fell for DLR, and she ran back to give him a cheek kiss, it looked like he was genuinely thrilled and was smiling even after YM went away, only when he turned around and saw Hui did he wipe that smile of his face.

The way Hui was wearing Ym's clothes and acting like her actly creeped me out a bit too.

Especially with YM acting quite obvious, shouldn't she suspect that they are suspecting her too? I mean it does seem like she know since she said she don't want to be poisoned and that's why she don't eat at home

That's what I thought too after the more recent episodes. But I do like how Hui is realising that DLR is be moving more greedy so I hope she takes that into account and stand on opposite sides of DLR.

I can't bring myself to fully like wen xiao xiao too though cus of her way of always going after people's husbands.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, like sure she don't know how the finances work because she didn't handle those stuffs her whole life before this, but that doesn't mean she is fully unaware of how the world works in other parts.

I'm pretty sure once she starts (she has started already but like even more in the future eps) handling the finances, she'll catch up very fast. Like she has the brains but was just not aware of things work yet.

For example, YM was guessing that DLR and LH are romantic partners but JX said no they could be related other ways too and YM also said she also thought that way ltr on. But looking at episode 6 preview , we see that they were/are indeed romantically involved. There was another such guessing case too in the earlier episode where they thought wanfeng (?) was the mistress because of her appearing in the picture sent to YM but then turns out it was the helicopter girl

I find these instances fascinating, how the characters don't immediately know what's going on unlike in other dramas and they don't find out immediately even when investigating too, rather the audiences also solve tgt with them through clues and it makes every character seem more realistic. Like the characters are also working through multiple possibilities and the case is not laid out in one straight line

Another realistic thing was when YM was going through the camera's card and DLR appeared at the door, she didn't suddenly knew he was there, but only because LH made the noise calling out to DLR that she knew and she quickly opened the door and pulled him away (probably so that he won't enter the room and start scanning which may lead him to find clues of her looking throught the camera) and rather than him opening the room's door and she is suddenly taking a nap like she said she was going.

I'm actually loving how more realistic this drama seems, like how they show the main characters guessing possibilities and all

Chang hua sen's character in episode 3 was hilarious 😂😂 I originally was hoping JX and YM end up together but now I feel like their current banter and relationship is also gd enuf even if they don't end up tgt😂
