her mom is a pedophiliac. she SA'd her daughter and it goes unpunished cause the daughter can't proof it just because she is a woman. which is heartbreaking.
in the final ep, they really made huang ying has a twin and used her to get a confession from song hongyu haha how convenient! i was kinda waiting for some kind of mind blowing plot twist but i guess that's the best twist they can present to us. still gotta appreciate everyone splendid acting! worth to watch indeed.
wang qian yuan ia really nailed his character as a villain. he doesn't need mouthful lines. you just need to look his expressions and it can give you chills
the animation at the end really helps to feel some missing details from the novel cause every episode only has 30 minutes-ish and it will only 8 episodes in total which is a shame, it deserved at least 12 or even 16 to fully grasp the story bit still so grateful nonetheless. and good job to the production teams and everyone involved in this series, truly. their efforts showed.
the proposal and the wedding scene got me crying over and over again whenever i watch them. it just so beautiful and both grace and oaey should be proud of themselves with their acting. i really feel bad for them for not getting the attentions they deserved.
