I actually really liked this drama at first but the recent episodes just prove that there will be 0 character…
I think u need waiting for full episode if you want to "develope character" cause the character itself developing in the end of part novel around 80-90 chpater from 99 chapter and episode 8(now) is in chapter 60-67 chapter so its still long journey. I mean i got it cause people like fast character development or from weak to strong real fast, its understandable tho cause probably its not your cup of tea for type slow burn series like this( but not me tho cause i love slow burn so much... mean 80% of my BL is slow burn or even like The On1y One that the romance is not even started yet Lmaoo cause season 2 got canceled.... so i think people will react differently)
But i will 100% disagree if the series is bad, the acting is really bad yet people still praise them cause they have handsome face..

For people who want to know what it mean, this is the timeline start when Xiao Fan taking revenge of all people, meet his first friend, eavesdropping of Luqing shareholding or many things that Xiao Fan did unexpected... especially make luqing almost bancrupt.... but i guess this scene is going out in eps 11 cause it kinda surprise(flashback moments)

Its actually Luxin want to test that her brother is gay or not cause she actually knew that he is gay but not have any prove so luxin wanna test him using her husband to find he is gay or not... (but she didnt found out except in the last scene before Xiaofan go to europe). I think thats that i recapp it when read the novel. She just suspicious that his brother are gay.. thats all. She kinda jealous too cause their family is treat Luqing better than Luxin
