I think if you can objectively watch the BTS videos of the stunts that Leo Luo performs you have to say no, he…
I have watched some BTS. They didn't change my mind. Do you think anorexic people just sit or lie down? Some of them manage to lead active lives. Sick people can exhibit powerful mind control. An acquaintance of mine who was dying of cancer was still exercising at the treadmill a few weeks before dying.

So-called fans crying "body shaming" at concerned people is the height of gaslighting. Body shaming is what people did to healthy artists like Zheng Shuang who, consequently, became skin and bones (see Love O2O) to satisfy "fans" who are more concerned about enjoying themselves at the expense of the artists' health. Anorexics, like drunkards and addicts, would not easily own up they are anorexic. That's why they need intervention. Fans who don't care about their idols' health as long as they deliver remind me of spectators in a gladiator fight. With so many cases of agents, managers, family members and personal doctors who were instrumental in artists' health problems, even death (think Michael Jackson), fans who are really concerned about their idols' health should not rest easy until they get official word from health professionals with proven integrity who, in no way, benefit from the idols' careers. I've seen Luo Yunxi when he was healthy and his current body frame is grotesque compared to how he was before. Now, his head is abornomally big for his body. And his face is so thin, I couldn't watch past ep 7.

Is “body shaming” what complicit so-called fans throw at those who express concern, to delude themselves and make themselves feel less guilty? I’ve seen LYX when he was healthy, in My Sunshine and Ashes of Love, so I know he is NOT healthy right now. Just as the FL in LoveO2O was not. If they really are anorexic, like drunkards and addicts, they won’t easily admit their condition. And there are many cases floating around in showbiz about managers, agents and parents who push stars towards unhealthy behavior.

Poor LYX. Because of his talent, his so-called fans don’t care that he is skin and bones, as long as they enjoy themselves. Same as those who don’t want their idols to marry because they think the idols owe them. Such is the state of the cdrama industry..

That’s what caring and being realistic mean. Pretending nothing is wrong is like a parent who keeps condoning the bad behavior of a spoilt child. This is why I stopped watching Love O2O (the FL seriously looked anorexic) and Till The End of the Moon. And now this. I was hoping LYX would have gained weight here since I understand his shrinking size has been brought to his attention. But he is still looks emaciated. I can’t enjoy anything at someone else’s expense.

He was normal in My Sunshine and Ashes Of Love. In fact, I was a fan from those dramas where he looked really good. But he seems to be disappearing before our eyes, looking more and more gaunt with each drama. So, because you enjoy his dramas, you’re going to ignore his alarming health issue? That’s rather too self-serving. If he really has anorexia, do you know that anorexics won’t admit they’re anorexic? It’s like a drunkard or an addict. They need intervention. Those who care about them need to make sure they get help.

I’m sorry, but what the Chinese Entertainment industry is doing to its artists needs to stop. And those who keep saying people who are pointing out Luo Yunxi’s abnormally thin frame are merely body shaming should be ashamed of themselves. One who really cares about these artists would be concerned about their anorexic looks. He clearly is sick. If he is not gaining weight no matter what he does, then he needs medical attention. Diabetes perhaps? Cancer? Or perhaps he needs a long rest? Whatever the case, how can one enjoy watching a male lead who looks skin and bones?
