I feel sad for this drama why people hate &drop this drama even gives the low rating .😂😂..plz love ZHL drama…
I noticed you've been trolling ZLH and my curiosity got the better of me. I also noticed we stan the same artist, based on your drama list. But unlike you, I don't feel ZLH is a threat to XK. ZLH is very handsome and is a threat to XZ, WYB and WL in that regard. He also towers over LYX, so I can understand if LYX fans would feel threatened by him. But XK is very handsome, tall and a good actor. As far as good looks and height are concerned, they're the same. XK is superior in terms of acting. He has depth of character. ZLH makes me cringe with his juvenile, teary-eyed acting. He has a long way to go to prove he is more than a pretty face. And to stay long in C-ent, one needs to be more than a pretty face. So, no need to feel threatened.
Y'll I'm impressed with this drama. For a drama with zero promotions and budget, and was abandoned by two of its…
Douban is as unreliable as any online drama scores like MDL, where scores may be manipulated by either the fans or antifans of the dramas and actors. In China, online blackmailers and water armies may be hired to sway voters' opinions, so only the gullible ones who think everyone who scores dramas is unbiased believe in Douban. In fact, it has been said that high Douban scores are for sale. Studios that want their dramas to have high scores pay blackmailers not to blacken their dramas and actors.
Reality in my case. After seeing how much handsomer and more masculine cdrama actors are, it was bye-bye kdramas for me. I watch dramas for entertainment, not to be a member of an acting awards committee. As long as an actor portrays a role reasonably well, I'm happy as long as he/she is easy on the eyes. I sometimes get distracted while watching kdramas when actors start looking less masculine. Seems like kdrama actors have redder lipstick then females. And cdramas have more variety when it comes to story lines. I also love how imaginative cdramas are.
The drama is doing very well so far. Excited for the offline events with our leads tomorrow.Oh and slightly off…
Fans downrating other dramas showing at the same time as their favorites is not unusual. This drama is threatening to overpower other dramas airing simultaneously. It placed #2 in Maoyan chart on its 1st day.

So delusional. Don't even care to understand what I'm saying. You need to take your own advice.

It seems you did not understand what I just said. It's not body shaming when the body in question is unhealthy and the intention is to point that out so the body becomes healthy. This concern has been voiced by westerners before LYX came around, that time, in concern of skeletal models on fashion runways. Those fans who delude themselves into thinking it's okay for artists to be skeletal as long as they are entertained are selfish, same as those fans who forbid their idols from marrying. It's all about what the fans want. Artists are seen as slaves and puppets.

if only people made as much noise when Karen Carpenter became skeletal, she probably would have made more beautiful music past the age of 32 when she succumbed to complications of anorexia

When has MDL become a fascist site? I'm not lying, so there's no reason I can't say my piece. Body shaming is uncalled for when a healthy person is made to feel bad about having a healthy physique causing him/her to become unhealthy. When you call out something bad, like looking skeletal, so the person can get back to being healthy, that's called concern and what every caring fan should do for their faves. Otherwise, they're being COMPLICIT.

I'm also rethinking kdramas after seeing the FL in Marry My Husband who used to be so pretty but got stick thin in MMH. I had to drop that drama actually. That's why I'm back with western shows. They're showing normal-looking performers now. Models are also not stick thin anymore.
As far as I know, genetically thin people still maintain normal weights, just on the thin side of the spectrum. I am one. But coupled with the thin genes, I also used to have a really good metabolism so I was underweight for a while. But I never looked skeletal, which is what is alarming about LYX. If he is really trying to gain weight due to netizens' noise, then it served him well.

Are you even reading my comments? For the nth time, see if there is "fake diagnosis" here in this statement: "... If he is not gaining weight no matter what he does, then he needs medical attention. Diabetes perhaps? Cancer? Or perhaps he needs a long rest?..."
Note the "If" in that comment. If you don't understand that comment, let me make it clear that all those conditions were cited as examples of other reasons somebody could be underweight. It was to illustrate that there are other reasons than not eating that could make somebody look that emaciated, that's why his being excessively skinny should not be taken lightly.
That url you gave me just said "gains weight". Based on what? You said yourself unless he was weighed personally, it's a "stupid claim". Well, merely saying he has "gained weight" is a million times more stupid (your word) than actually having the same weight figure in several sites, including iQiyi itself. Who started bringing in BMI in the discussion in the first place? But once BMI got used to prove my point, you want to drop it. Sigh! In any case, those who are not deluded are still seeing him looking emaciated, so the weight/BMI figures are irrelevant.
Below is an explanation I wrote earlier about my point, with some additional comments: My concern is how the Chinese Entertainment industry is putting unrealistic demands on artists, encouraging them to be stick thin and dictating their love lives, even forcing them to remain unmarried. The worst cases of stick thin figures I've seen so far are Zheng Shuang (of Love O2O) and LYX , but most of the artists I like look worse than when they used to look healthy. As proven by the bmi calculation for LYX, he IS underweight. But the more disturbing fact is that he looks like a skeleton, to those of us who are not deluded.
If you can continue to support an industry that treats its artists like puppets and slaves, it's your prerogative. But I have already started withdrawing my support for it. For now, I'm refusing to watch dramas/movies of artists that show visible proof of C-Ent's stranglehold. I have also already started going back to western shows.

I'm not claiming to be a doctor so I don't need to prove my doctoral knowledge. And I wasn't the one who could not understand a simple comment, claiming fake diagnosis where there was none. Anyway, you still haven't given me the url that has LYX's new weight. The page I got when researching "Janestars follow your heart" does not have the new weight.

It's easy to call oneself a doctor online. I doubt a real doctor would stoop this low, calling somebody idiot, a slur which even in my lowest moment I have never thrown at anybody. Researching online is easy too. It doesn't take a doctoral degree. And you are so proud of these research materials available online 😂
Also, a real doctor would try to understand the data presented first before throwing mud at it. The bmi calculation was based on 57 kg, a number that currently appears on iQiyi platform. And it's true that 18.19, which was calculated CORRECTLY based on given data, means UNDERWEIGHT. The question is, why does iQiyi still have 57 kg in its site? By the way, I'm not able to navigate to your jaynestars.com url.
Where did I allege that LYX has cancer? If it was my comment, "... If he is not gaining weight no matter what he does, then he needs medical attention. Diabetes perhaps? Cancer? Or perhaps he needs a long rest?..." Note the "If" in that comment. If you can't even understand a simple comment, pardon me for not taking that "Dr" in your username seriously.

Thank you for proving my observation scientifically. Actually, not just mine. A lot of people have shown concern about his excessive skinniness. Ironically, it's his fans who keep deluding themselves. A state of being underweight that is visible to the naked eye should be a cause for concern. But cdrama fans insist on putting pressure on celebs that they themselves would find hard to meet, such as looking like Barbie dolls and having no love lives.
This is a great example of the importance of good writing and acting in dramas. I'm not a big fan of 'slice of life' stories. I watched for Lin Gengxin and had no idea what the drama was about. But when I started watching, I could not stop. Crystal Liu is mesmerizing. Lin Gengxin's role is particularly unexpected, to say the least. The story flowed so smoothly and all the actors played their parts naturally, before I knew it, I was bingeing.
The thing is, he is not and has explained it like a thousand times, now how does people still saying you are abnormally…
It's not just me who is horrified at his emaciated looks. Many others have sounded the alarm. He is not just skinny. He looks grotesque, with his head being too big for his body and his face being too thin and long. I've seen him when he was healthy and he was handsome, far from grotesque. If he has been pushed to this condition, it means those who are close to him are not doing their jobs. And I have read enough news about celebs whose agents, managers, families and doctors have been the ones who pushed these celebs to ill health, to not be surprised if such a situation might be happening in this case too. So, as fans, are you just going to stay quiet while cdrama artists appear to be abused to this state of unhealth? Aside from LYX , there are other artists, too, who have gotten sickly skinny, though LYX is the worst case I've seen.
You're sick and need serious help. As one of the highly paid actors, I'm sure he's getting himself medically checked,…
When someone has run out of arguments to say, she turns on the person she's having an argument with. You didn't even read/understand my comments well. Read again. Did I say he was a drunkard? And I cited cancer, as well as needing a long rest, as just a possible reason why anybody would get terribly thin. I repeat, LIKE drunkards and addicts, anorexics would not easily own up they are anorexic, so fans who really care about him and not just what he delivers to them, should demand he be tested by a health professional with integrity who does not benefit from him being an artist. This is important because there are too many cases of artists falling ill or dying because their agents, managers, family members and personal doctors are more interested in what they can get out of the artists than keeping them healthy.
"Body shaming" is when a healthy person is called names that cause him to acquire unhealthy habits and physique. Calling an extremely skinny person out to put him back on the road to health is showing concern. Those who condone whatever state of unhealth a person has are called COMPLICIT.
It's a known fact that cdrama fans are among the most toxic in showbiz. Treating their idols like puppets, these fans disallow their idols from having love lives, let alone marrying. These fans don't care about their idols' well-being as long as they get to enjoy their idols' looks and talents. I really pity these idols.
