I found it amusing that A'Li wasn't jealous of Poison Princess' close relationship with Xiao Heng at all, but…
She was jealous tho when jiyue was attacked by wanning's men. Xiao Heng needed to explain that she's a princess and her safety is crucial to the alliance to neighboring country 😅
Why does Xue Fang father call her Ah Li during torture scene? I thought Ah Li is short form name for Jiang Li…
Xue Fang Fei's given name (mentioned in ep 1) is Xue Li which is, like fate, similar to Jiang Li. Hence, she is both called A'Li as an endearment/nickname in both her identities
I beg to differ. For me, I can really feel that she was the most regal and beautiful out of all of them. She does…
Yessssss! Like I kept on thinking like yo this girl WJY is reallyyy casted so so well as A'Li. She has that charisma and aura on screen that screams FL above the rest of the cast. Xiao Heng as well is suuuuuuuper well casted like dude is super believable as this dominant handsome elite duke, like no one would think to question it. They were really both perfectly casted, age difference is totally unnoticeable like fr
so far so good!! plot is riveting and ML is dashing cool with all his deadpan humourous witty lines.. FL is very…
I beg to differ. For me, I can really feel that she was the most regal and beautiful out of all of them. She does look older but not that old that would make it feel weird and definitely not noticeable or distracting. The story, characterization, acting, directing, made her believable as who she was being portrayed, the most talented woman with a pretty face. She looks so elegant and dignified. Before you say anything, I haven't watch her or known her in anything before The Double so definitely not a biased fan reaction
Edit: To add, Xiao Heng is sooooooo handsome and A'Li is soooooooo beautiful and that together with their amazingly acted and written characters made it totally believable that they would fall for each other immediately
Why did Duke Su sent half his banner to accompany A'Li going home to the Jiangs? What was his purpose in that? Is it political? To help A'Li? Idk I'm confused with this one
When Xiao Heng said the I already knew you liked me line then his confession, I can't really remember if and when A'Li confessed to him? Can anyone remind me what happened?
For me, having watch The Double and earlier A Journey To Love and Till The End of The Moon, having debatable endings is already not a big factor for me. Yes, I may have some slight negative feelings at first but they usually fade right away. They would never ruin the whole drama for me as the journey watching such epic shows is totally worth it. (Unless it's GOT level of trolling that elapsed at least 1 whole season, still loved the show tho) The acting, cinematography, chemistry, and most specially the script and story/plot is too high quality for me to be deterred with such feelings. The endings may be argued as sad ending but I can say they weren't totally bad as the way they were executed were artistic in nature. Would I've hoped for a better ending? Of course. But the ending given to us is enough for me. Or maybe I'm just getting older and thus numb to all the nonsense already idk 😅
SOM = ?
Tho, I hope for their reunion drama there'a more and equally hot romance haha
