I really wonder about the former king's character. I wonder what he did to make queen mother hate him that much. Is he like too weak to run the kingdom? too sickly? too dumb? Like someone said here, it felt like the queen mother was forced to wed the former king, and who knows, she might've had some feelings for I-An before and wanted to marry him and got the former king instead since he was the eldest.
I think min ju is my favourite so far. She is so adorable, so pretty aaand she is funny. Comeon. Among men, Yeol…
I agree with you. I know it may be because of the culture or what but a decent person with common sense knows how to make someone not feel "out of place". even if we just met, I will try my best to include you on anything (doesn't mean i like you already/have feelings for you already) but it's not a good thing to be ignorant around others. the women felt the negative energy too (men doing things so that the yugyeong i think her name will notice them, it was so awkward fr). since it's only the 1st day, i hope it won't become like this in the next few eps.
I don't want to make a generalized comment but its like most Asian men are like that. But I guess they're just…
I'm an asian women currently in the States. Trust me, men here are the worst too, I thought men from my country are helpless, but american men are just the same. Even just communicating on dating apps and meeting in person to see where this goes, they just can't have good communications, I always ask them "do you have any questions for me?". They always say no, but I am the one who asks questions to keep the convo alive. I think dating scene is at its worst state now, worldwide. Maybe it's all about luck to meet someone that's interested or who can hold a convo well. That's like 20% out of 100%.
I hope I won't be seeing 3 men going after 1 woman again, like I am so tired of seeing this at every dating show I watch may it be korean or chinese dating shows!!
2 of the men are so quiet. I guess this is really an epidemic now, men not being able to have topics or like ask questions about the women. Interested or not, it's easy to keep the convo going. As a woman having to go on 1st dates where men can't talk, or doesn't ask questions about you, it's really disappointing. I'm always the one doing the 1st move now.
For some reason I struggle to watch IU. i dropped all of her dramas, she's just very annoying to me.
I'm with you, it's not that I hate her or anything, I like her music. I feel like her acting is kind of mid. The way her lips move is a bit off, or the way she tries hard to be this cold character. I feel like some actors do have that innate gift of aura where they don't need to try hard to be cold or act like the character that ppl around them would fear. But this will be my 1st drama of her, and I will try to watch it still. BWS did not help either. This will be my 1st drama from him also since I try to dodge his dramas for some reason.
That’s by design. She’s not supposed to be a good character :)
Yeah, it already looks like it by the poster. I'm just still in awe bc usually in period dramas *kind of, it's always the mother in law or any aged characters are always the antagonist. so having the young sister in law is kind of a fresh air, but with a bit of hate haha.
I like the drama so much, but I wished we could've gotten more sweet moments between the leads. The ending felt rushed. Plus that accident was so uncalled for. Would give it a 9/10.
4 more episodes + they broke up???? i really don't like it when they get back tgt on the very last episode! ughhhhhhh we were robbed of looking at their relationship dynamics! i'm still going to continue this though, it's just a shame, they barely got together after the slow burn but few eps left they have yet to get back tgt again after their break up :(
