about to drop it, im on the 9th episode. The only things i really like in this drama is Tae hyung and wo joo. Tae hyng is very lovable, he’s a complex character and more developed than the FL ( who’s often annoying). Woo jo, such a cute baby !! I liked the first episodes (1-4) but after it’s getting boring, specially with the second ML. Seeing Hyun jin played the dumb girls and completely forget her life pmo. Her character is so underdeveloped that we could believe that she is the second FL. However, I would like to learn more about her, she lost her sister, she’s alone now so what about that ? Her brother in law and her first love are the only worries in her life ? It’s my third show where Roh jeong hui is, i appreciate the actress but her project doesn’t suit her. She’s look too young for a role like that so it’s why I also have difficulties to focus on Hyun jin.
So I’m going to stop it here. I will watch Our universe until the end but with any no pleasure.
Han Gyul and Se Jin really piss me off. I usually avoid dramas with high school students anyway (with a few exceptions…
You'd have to be a real idiot to think anyone would be happy to be in first place by proxy, even if, deep down, Sejin doesn't even know what he did in his past life. Okay, I should calm down, but it drives me crazy watching dramas with dumb characters—*Our Universe* has already gotten to me.
Han Gyul and Se Jin really piss me off. I usually avoid dramas with high school students anyway (with a few exceptions like *Boyhood*, *Head Over Heels*, etc.). Those two are seriously idiots—the guy literally sabotaged his own exam on purpose because he thinks his girlfriend works harder than he does. What is that all about? The drama doesn’t really intrigue me that much to begin with (I stuck around for ABH and LJB), and if I also have to put up with a cheesy romance on the side, it’s not going to work. I’m not in the habit of ranting about dramas, but this is too much.
How can I tell you that the first ten minutes of the first episode already won me over! I'm on episode 2 and I can already give this drama a 10/10. I love the story, the world, and above all the female lead character—she's been through so much. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Guys, I've been waiting for this K-drama since the beginning of the year. I loved the idea of seeing PHS, Seo In Guk, Lee Joo Bin, and Kang Min A, but... Is the K-drama really that bad? I'm seeing a lot of reviews from people saying they're disappointed, etc.
It was torture for me to finish episode 15, I just can't take it anymore. It's always the same thing, when I started the series I wondered why people were saying that, I was even prepared to give it a 9/10, then finally after episode 10, it was just too much. Antagonists who serve no purpose except to serve up badass scenes and Min ju yeong who single-handedly carries the whole show. Dong ju had this bad boy air at the start of the series, with scenes where we really focused on his badassism, but in the long run it didn't become cringe-worthy but rather "it's no longer effective, it's becoming banal". And then the fight scenes, where he's beaten up every time and then has symptoms, once twice, why not, but all the time it became redundant. And Hanna, apart from being the love interest, what role did she really play? They tried to develop her with the themes of her mother using her and her father's death, but then stop, nothing. Now let's talk about the team. I loved the captain - serious, but what a character! And Jae Hong, super cute but no development? And I've always wanted to know what led them all to become policemen, especially the Captain, who seemed to excel at wrestling. Droguemon, what a disappointment. She came into the series in super badass mode and then they softened her up at the end. She would have made a great villain, her looks, her face card, she had it all, but oh well.
If the actress had been a little older, I think it would have been even more perfect. Let's talk about the story. Dong ju a former boxer turned policeman, ok that does it. Now, let me speak frankly. I refuse to believe that you don't see how he's acting like a teenager in crisis who has no reflection. You turn a blind eye to it because of its beauty. I'm sorry, but the guy was always putting his team on the verge of suspension because of his impulsive behavior. There's impulsive and not knowing how to think. I really like Park Bob gum in this role but the character is just no. 12 episodes would have done the trick and the plot about the disease wasn't necessary because if I understood correctly the end of the story is a happy ending so it's all for nothing in the end.
I haven't finished yet but the death of the policewoman just shocked me, I wasn't expecting that. I have a feeling the story's going to end badly and between us Jae Hyo, I have a feeling he's going to turn Jun Seong upside down, I can't wait to see the end, I'm on episode 7.
I've started this drama and I'm now on episode 2 but I need to talk to all the people who said that Gyeon U was unpleasant, a red flag and all sorts of nonsense. I know I'm only at the beginning of the drama and maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you still need a minimum of emotional intelligence to understand it. He's made to understand that bad luck follows him around, and the shamans use his and his grandmother's desperation to squeeze more money out of him. They repel the people around him because of all the things those tellers have made him swallow. He got upset when he saw his grandmother eating with the shaman, I'd probably have done the same. He misunderstood the situation, but imagine seeing yet another person you think is using your misfortune to make money, to eat with the person you love most. Just imagine. And personally I find him quite funny in the way he acts (when he kept going even though Ji ho was calling him in episode 1 or when he pushes Seong A away with a broom). I know we have in mind the fact that they'll end up together and that seeing him act coldly with Seong A can be frustrating, but don't stigmatize him, because if it had been a girl instead, she'd have been judged as boring and blamed for every move.
So I’m going to stop it here. I will watch Our universe until the end but with any no pleasure.
