Nice drama, I like Wuxin and Xiao Se/Chuhe characters. Easy watch overall and I binged that, plus a few 2x speed and I smashed it. 😄😄. Waiting for Fangs of Fortune. I enjoyed it, laughed at 5he many scenes, and grinned at the cheesy love words. Cried when the grandma died, that was amazing acting from the lady, really tugged on the heart string.

I know right. In the novel, he stayed loyal to the end and so did Xie Quilin. I loved the novel version as well.

At the beginning, no one thinks FL character was suited to Rongxia gentlemenly character. Her maids his man servants as well as Shi Fexian. But her "straight shooting" as said by ML servant character tried to get him on side for her family future scenes were funny and of ML resisted falling for her. Love the drama, lighht and easy to watch. I was happy with the happy ending after invested almost 40 hours of my time. 😊😊

Thank you for that, it is very helpful. You have watched A girl like me too? It was his first costume drama and only 23 years old, but make up etc... made him looked older. There were cute stills and moments of HMH in there. I know they used filters in some but still it was a light and easy to watch drama. I will leave BFTB until I have watched all his other costumes drama and then watch it. I have seen clips and his baby dragon face (obvious with filter) was tooo cute 😂😂.

If you like Neo Hou in costume drama. Check out his first one when he was only 23 years old. Drama called A girl Like Me (2021) You may like it, i liked it. He was handsome in that drama. That is how i first know of him. I have not watched back from the brink as i just finished A Girl like Me and then Dashing Youth come out. I saw mixed review for BFTB with the middle draggy and loose plot so i was kind of unsure of investing in 40 episodes, when 20 episodes in the middle are so so. What is your take?

Totally agree. Enjoy the drama and be rational. Yue Yao and Quxian is also a good match. He loves her unconditionally, and deep affection, I feel. But hey it is a drama

I loved the Baili mansion scenes. Grandfather was being grandf and wife, i can kill you one of two ways. 😂. You beat our son and chained him. You can sleep in thebarrack for the rest of your life 🤣🤣. Their scripts so lovely, funny and endearing. Enjoyed the father and son talk. I hope they dont die in this drama. Waiting for Ep 28 and 29 later today. 😊

I love the scene so much, heart warming. A real father and son talk and theirnown kind of way and he was acting tough as BDJ said. Wife was like, i allowed you to go to the wedding banquet, not to beat our son up and chain him. I can kill you both ways. Mum listened in on father and son talk. God, I hope his mum and dad and grandfather wont die in this drama. They can in between end of this drama and begin of TBOY. Any spoiler, so can prepare me mentally 😜😂

We would have to agree to disagree. I found it funny at many scenes, crying scene too. Lets hope future drama will either have pure crying scene all through, or fighting and death only or just love scenes only 😂. That should keep the nikpick happy. Having many suiters does not make a bad drama, The subjective view of not enough time for leads to bond. Well i dont want a 80 episodes, 40 was more than enough. I think this could have been done at 36 episodes.
