This drama was at first a 7/10 for me and I was hoping it would go up a bit more depending on how it would end.
But the last episode is a real shame they did the audience dirty by dragging the main couples reunion about 5 mins before the end. The last episode also felt like a chore to get through so I'm now leaving it at a 6/10.
Haeyeong though will be a favorite character of mine in this show. Too bad such an interesting character didn't get the developed story she deserved.
Ikr, what was it even trying to say about being poly? Maybe just showing that it doesn’t work?
I think the show is just really trying to have it all by showing all the ways love, family and relationships can happen but it doesn't work with a rushed 12 episode format. It's a "jack of all trades and a master of none" thing. That relationship especially left me feeling empty.
Cha Hui Seong is delulu to think she can have a happy life with her bf and the baby. Their love is long gone from…
About the doubt, it's not just for him and her but they all deserve to know who the biological father is. They all need to clear that misunderstanding for themselves and the baby.
Next to the title and above the summary/description there's a tiny 16+ symbol next to the genre label "Romance" before even playing any episodes. I scrolled through each episodes, where you can see the summaries and ratings and there are some episodes that have a 13+ rating(ep3,6-9) but overall it's rated for 16+. Weird how they do that tbh.
34-year-old men with enormous power can't blame mommy for their bad behavior. Bok Gyu-hyun is responsible for…
GH really does have an underlying unhinged nature like his parents and this isn't excusing just describing and there's an unevenness in how the dramatic parts are depicted with his character that feels sort of forced? The actor though is hella charming and good even with the scripts issues so I can get why there is still support for GH. I'm def checking out his other works.
I think JU has been set up to be younger but emotionally more mature than GH and will be a good influence on GH but JU needs to have more of a backbone to stand up against GH first. A lot of the scenes give some whiplash with how one moment a character is mad then the next all nonchalant about what happened before lol. It's not like The Last Empress but I feel the writer must really like makjangs.
One thing I remember from older Kdramas is they couldn't block the phone or turn it off, they'd take out the whole battery to ignore a call. Maybe because with new phones you can't take out the battery she can't block him? /jk

Yeah, ep 8 he acts more bold and she acts annoyed like he's a fly to be swatted but she gets over it quickly. I don't know if we really needed the cheater side plot if this is how it's going to be treated so far. Then again even the chairman's cheating is treated as a joke in this show.
I'm curious to see how they'll wrap it up, but dramas, even ones that start off strongly, have trouble with how to end side plots.
i haven't stopped any shows without finishing. But, i cannot get past starting of episode 7. Out of all issues,…
I'm not a fan of episode 7. And I can't stand the ex. Yes, he's funny but they've been dragging it out with the wife supposedly being clueless.
You'd think Hae Yeong would be a girls girl and tell the wife but they set her up to being sooo ambitious that she'll look pass it because she wants to climb the corporate ladder.
And there's the whole thing that a lot of people overlook is this actual harassment. Him showing up to her place drunk and him doing some other inappropriate things. This is all unwanted attention but HY acts mostly indifferent about it. Which is very weird for a character we've seen believes strongly in speaking up for herself and others. I know she also has the hurdle that the wife has an important position in HR and is close to the CEOs family but I'm very over seeing his cheater face.

This baby is everybody's baby!
This isn't me shaming the toxic jerk with a heart of gold trope but sometimes variety is needed.
