you open the drama page and it specifies,GENRE: COMEDY & ROMANCEhere comes an intelligent transcended human being…
There's criticism, and then there are the people who mock and hate others for enjoying something.

I have my criticisms of the show and some of the takes I agree with because right now if I were to rate this show it would be a 6.5 but why do I continue it? Because I recognize the show for what it is and enjoy it still even with all these issues.

I've already blocked the users who are showing here almost everyday the past two weeks to hate on the show and troll others for enjoying it. I recommend others to do the same and have no guilt doing so.

Hating on this show doesn't make one superior and the people actually enjoying this show aren't inferior either.

Title No Gain, No Love Spoiler
In comparison to episode 7, I've enjoyed episode 8! There was more of a balance of emotional beats addressed and embracing romance while still being goofy.

- I feel bad for. Ja Yeon. Abuse always lingers. What sis needs needs now is some ongoing therapy.

- Been seriously impressed by the actor Lee Sang Yi as Gyu Hyun. He's doing a very well rounded performance from comedy to drama. And he can sing in tune a bit? I'm going to have to check out his other dramas.

- UJ for being a clown has also been increasingly acting stalker like. Request a restraining order HY! And YL could do better. I don't even think UJ loves HY. He's just experiencing FOMO and being married is not for him. And of course it would be UJ who would find out HY secret. In dramaland, the worst person you know will find out your secrets first.

- JU getting fed up as he needs his feelings to be known. You go my man, express yourself!

- When JU said 'I'll wait patiently to the point you won't even know I'm waiting'? I gagged because HY doesn't know the tragic extent of how true that already is. Man has been waiting for YEARS YEARS at that damn convenience store to make sure you're getting your tuna gimbap m'am.

- Well I didn't expect that plot twist it was the secretary who wrote the hate comments that triggers JY. I did think GH hired people to leave hate comments but that it's the secretary JY adores? Pain.

- Last part of the show really felt like a makjang. We get this whole dreamy intimate atmosphere between HY and JU then you get sudden big head GH freaking out about Lucifer is his blood brother lol

The more times I watch this the more I am interested in the CEO drama, because he is fr giving main character…
I'm now looking forward to the spinoff with the CEO. The actor is fantastic in this role.

Wonder how the people rooting for the secretary over the CEO are feeling about this. It was mentioned previous to the secretary taking it on the CEO was just leaving a bunch of dumb comments that JY didn't care about .

He did tell the secretary to 'break her pen' as in to write things to the point that will get her to quit but the the secretary acts weirdly casual and nonchalant about his involvement on the phone with her, even after all that played out with the lawsuit and volunteer work it tells you it was just whatever to him because it was just part of his 'job'.

What was the comment that Ha-jun made on chapter 51???? I need to know sooo bad now 😭😭😭Also that preview……
I think it was in relation about speculating on her family relations, it's why she was able to file for defamation in South Korea.

NAH BUT WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! It felt like a fevered dream but it was real isn't it because of next weeks previews?

This episode was so good. I'll have to share my thoughts later.

I got the sparkly heart censored version on Prime. Maybe it's because I'm not a paid member? But that scene is…
I KNOW. WTF? When Prime asks me why I'm still not a paying member I'll file this as evidence in my complaint!

I got the sparkly heart censored version on Prime. Maybe it's because I'm not a paid member? But that scene is infinitely better with the the dildos animation. Thanks for sharing.

Polyamory was most definitely not on my bingo card 😳 I can imagine the toxic accounts are going nuts ranting…
The South Korean drama factory is corrupting our minds with poly propaganda! Who knew South Korea would start the boy band trend and poly renaissance /s

Joking aside, I can't think of any popular western shows that have poly couples depicted so casual? It's usually depicted either in shows about Mormonism and reality shows that people end up laughing at. Now I'm wondering if it's really a hot topic in certain subcultures in South Korea because people are saying it's also come up in another kdrama this year.

Honestly the big sis could do better than that lame ass man. Hell, she can find another dude or a woman better than him. It just feels like a loveless depiction.

Am I the only one who wanted to see CEO at house warming party? The previews are so misleading. I am not sure whether…
This. I needed actual chaos at that housewarming party!

Instead we got more digs about HY's age and Jae slipping.

On a twisted positive side note. The scene of my boy JU staring longingly and sad at the picture of him married to Hae Young? He really likes being married to her.

Maybe not the best of the best actors but I think Kim Young Dae is doing amazing expressing his pining the past few episodes towards HY.

A heads up. Today's recap is going to be 95% of a rant.

For such a sex positive show, I get why some are bummed by the kiss. Is it even a kiss? I don't expect french kissing but wasn't ready for the return of the infamous hybrid fish nose kiss!

Now about the poly plot twist? I've had my reservations about what was the point of the second foster sister before. But now I wonder how necessary is her character really to the overall story?

My issues with the poly storyline isn't because I disagree with poly relationships personally. It's more so my issue with how it's being set up in the show.

If they really are wanting to make poly digestible, why the unlikable characters? The boyfriend of ten years is unattractive and inattentive, the voice actress girlfriend also comes across as self-centered and one note. They feel like stock characters forced in to make some point the writers can't commit to. I guess we can wait and see if these characters become something more but I really don't care about seeing them in the show. Here's hoping truck-kun rolls over all of them.

And the way they had HS find the earring in the couch and her slipping it silently in her pocket with no remark? I know it's a set up to fool the audience at first but doesn't speak to someone actually feeling comfortable she's in a poly relationship...

Another thing, I was bummed we barely had any quality JU and GH scenes. JU now knows GH is likely his half brother and the chairman likely his father but it's like 'whatever' to him as he's more worried about ordering food to host a bland housewarming party.

They really want to drag out U Jae's wife acting clueless about U Jae having a past relationship with Hae Yeong. She's in HR and comes from a powerful family, I think she actually knows and is far more calculating than her innocent act. She's in the background being active with wanting to position U Jae to get ahead of Hae Yeong. I don't think it's a coincidence. Another clue from this episode is when Hae Yeong's supervisor tells everyone that HR picks up on any tiny gossip in the offices.

Hoping next episode focuses more on our main leads again. Episode 6 felt pretty strong for the series as of now and I was hoping episode 7 would build on that momentum. Here's hoping episode 8 can get back on track.

after the misunderstanding reading bout the airing dates for eps 7 n 8, it seems it will still be aired today…
Yes, looks like it should be still airing on Monday? I'm basing this off of tvN's social media account sharing ep 7 pre-release dates.

I think his choice in roles is very cool and he's not shy about coming across as unattractive and uncool when acting. Tells me he really takes his work seriously.

Great to see him get a nom this year for ONHCT. Long live Pu Yiyong's mullet.

I watched again without Spanish dub (let me be). Can't believe I was missing out on Kim Young Dae's voice. The way he leaned in and said "It's you. My wife".

Phew.

I think he may have promised FL's mother to take care of her. Maybe he was the first to know about her illness. In…
OH. You made me realize there is a whole other meaning with his reply when she asked him why he's been at the same convenience store for years and should leave and his response is "until you're married i'll quit". So he wasn't joking was he? lol

He was one of her mother's foster kids (but after she'd already graduated from college) and he knew who she was…
I need more sweet moments like this before the angsty 'youre like dead to me' episodes.

I think you're right. I think he lowkey liked her for a long time (as we found out this ep he's been saving her favorite gimpap on the side for years) and has been suppressing it for whatever reasons.

Hmm did Ji Uk have a childhood crush on Hae Yeong?

I don't think these feelings for her came from nowhere and sudden now. And now those feelings were unlocked again from the fake marriage. Like my dude spent money on the ring and feels strongly attached and protective but this also could speak to his deep loneliness.

What a great pleasure it is to have such intellectually superior minds among us lowly, romcom-enjoying peasants…
This page is just privileged to get a revolving door of weekly intellectuals consistently showing up and spending their days to educate NGNL watchers on what taste actually is

Another positive it has helped on who to block quickly here!
