It’s pretty amusing how they just started dating, but it feels like they’ve been a couple since episode 8 or 9. The transition from friends to lovers was well done 💗

I see where you're coming from regarding Seung Hyo's proposal, but I think it reflects the intensity of his emotions after a life-changing experience. Sometimes, moments of clarity can lead people to act impulsively. While I agree that it would be ideal for Seokryu to be more settled in her career before making such a commitment, I also wish he would have waited to propose until she was in a more stable place. This way, the proposal could feel more secure and meaningful. As for the episode formula, I appreciate the tension it creates; it builds anticipation for their relationship’s progression .That’s why this first proposal was doomed.

In the preview, it seems the leads aren’t concerned about the parents' reactions, which might reflect a common attitude in some Asian families. However, parents shouldn't dictate their children's relationships. It would have been lovely to see the leads attend that event, but I think the writer missed an opportunity there. Overall, I enjoyed the episode, especially how quickly they resolved everything.

Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu’s different ways of loving each other also added depth to the story. It was refreshing to see their relationship develop in such a unique way. I could go on and on about how much I’ve enjoyed the show, but I don’t want to take up too much space here. Still, I’m grateful for everything this drama has given us. Reading the comments on here has made the experience even better it’s been fun and enjoyable to see everyone’s reactions. I’ll definitely miss some of you on this MDL page.

Love Next Door has truly pulled me in💗 , despite a few minor issues in the writing. Each episode feels shorter and shorter, with Episode 14, for example, flying by in a blink maybe because I’m so invested One aspect that really stands out is the realism in the story. I know some viewers aren’t always keen on realistic characters, but I personally loved that element. The drama might have been marketed as a romcom, but if it had been pure romance all the time, I think it would have bored a lot of people. The slice-of-life moments were perfect, and I appreciated the balance of genres, especially the subplot with the brother finally coming to his senses. That was much needed because, honestly, he had been annoying me for a while.

That is right and why his character was flawed in that moment, well lets see how it goes for him i am not really sure if it turn out well for him in the next ep.

I get your point here, and that's actually why he called himself a coward. Plus, he didn’t know she had cancer at the time; instead, he was just trying to ignore his feelings.
Whenever he gets angry, it’s because that’s how he’s been since they were little. He’s also immature in some ways, which shows in how he handles situations. At one point, though he just let her be instead of pushing it.

I think you're missing the point of his character. Seunghyo is realistic . When she got jealous about the ex, he took it seriously because he didn’t want her to think he didn’t value her. It shows how much he cares and doesn’t want any misunderstandings. He also takes after his dad, so that seriousness makes sense. I think the drama is doing a good job with the main couple! That said, I kind of understand your feelings too it’s just different from what you expected.

I actually disagree about the writing being lame I’ve really enjoyed Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu as a couple. Their relationship has stayed interesting for me. I do agree, though, that the mini break they took wasn’t really necessary. I just hope Seok Ryu doesn’t end up going to the USA to study. If anything, they should go together! Overall, I really liked the episode

I completely agree with you People should be free to share their thoughts, good or bad. In my opinion, it’s not that I think people shouldn’t comment I just don’t want to care too much about it all because Sometimes, I can tell when someone’s hating, and honestly it kind of icks me.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Love Next Door and honestly couldn’t care less if others find it boring. The drama has been nothing short of captivating for me. From the beautifully crafted childhood-to-lovers arc, executed with emotional depth and authenticity, to the compelling ex's storyline, every detail has been spot-on. The leads' chemistry is undeniable, and the pacing of their evolving relationship has kept me hooked. The cinematography, with its warm tones and intimate close-ups, adds another layer of depth to the story. I’ve found myself completely immersed in the narrative, appreciating the nuances of the characters' journeys.

I’m glad I don't comment often because, let’s be honest, MDL has become increasingly strange with all the negativity. I’m here for the drama, not for the noise, and Love Next Door has delivered everything I hoped for. To all the haters, sometimes it’s better to appreciate or, at the very least, let others enjoy without the need for constant Hate.

This year is cursed with boring dramas.
Don’t bother watching then this is a slow-paced drama.
