1. First scene happens at the beginning of Volume 2, 8 years after the tragic ending of Volume 1. So creators of the show used this scene as a flashforward. It should be included in season 2, I hope. But I've expected there will be more of this scene in the last episode of season 1.
2. In the Volume 1 of the novel Only secretly loves Pop from the beginning, so it was very stupid decision of the director to show this so late, in the last episodes of season 1. Only later starts to like Tiger.
I recommend you to read two volumes of the novel. It's amazing.

I'm affraid that creators decided not to make season 2 and keep the happy ending instead so they cut bloody scene with accident.
