The series is based on first book Addicted, the second book takes place 8 years later, unfortunately second season of the series was canceled. There is only season 2 as radio drama. Second book has very happy ending :) Of course Wu Bi survived.

It was supposed to be continuation of Thai series Addicted Heroin but they decided to change the cast and rename the show to Addicted Love. So probably it will be a soft reboot, again...

NEWS! The producer of show Pep Thiengtham (he was also Pop's father) has written today on his Instagram in a comment that filming of season 2 probably should start in January, but the cast will be different than in season 1 :o I hope more mature because the story takes place 8 years later.

Unfortunately there is no extended version. It was fake information. People who watched it on this Korean platform confirmed on Reddit that there are no new scenes in the episodes. There are new scenes only in Behind the Scenes videos.

Good news! The company which makes Addicted Heroin, Jinloe Media Work, confirmed to me, that season 2 will be released in February 2026! :)
