He was going to propose. He had the flowers, the plan, the hope. But his body gave out before he could, and he knew it was the end. When she proposed instead 😭🥹🥺❤️❤️🩹💔 . Their vows were so full of love, but you could feel the goodbye in every word.And that kiss… it was everything. Gentle but with urgency, like they both needed to feel each other one last time. It was them claiming each other, saying goodbye, all in one breath.I’m not okay.

Fan Yue, the Polar Region Demon King, getting taken down by Jin Yao of all people????? Sir, what was that? The writers hyped him up as this calm but all-powerful protector, and yet when the time came to show that power, he got folded like laundry. Where was the actual Polar Region energy????The audacity of the writers to give us this endlessly composed, terrifyingly empathetic king — only to nerf him when the narrative needed a bit of drama. I mean, I get it: plot twists, emotional stakes, vulnerability, yadda yadda. But still… Jin Yao? Fan Yue was out here giving us “emotionally mature man getting played like a rookie” and I was like SIR, you rule a realm. You have followers who’d die for you. You survived millennia of demon infighting. And this is the day you just… flop?I felt personally betrayed. Like I backed the wrong celestial stock. 😅🫣

Ep 25 and 26 were everything I’d been waiting for! That argument in Yuanzhong’s sea of consciousness when he said “You’ve already sentenced me”? It was felt. Deeply. And the fact that it was Qian Lin — of all people — explaining Yuanzhong’s pain and loneliness to Tanyin was very symbolic. I loved seeing how all of Yuanzhong’s people happily responded to his choice to let go. A'Xiu smiling fondly at the wooden bird Tanyin gave him was way too cute. And OMG that cliffhanger?! They really said “no peace for the emotionally invested.” I barely got to exhale after the making up and they’re already dragging me back into chaos???

The French dubbing is atrocious !! As a French speaking, it's really ruining the experience as it's so cringe! They should've let the French cast speak in their own language and subtitled them instead of trying so hard to make a dubbing where they speak so slowly that it's unrealistic. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY would speak that slowly. Having the Chinese cast trying to speak French was okay. But they should really had left the French cast speak french for a more natural rendition. The parisian scenery is so nice, yet I can't wait to have them all back to China because of the butchered dubbing 🥲
