I looked at some reviews of the novel and.... it does not look good😭😭 - if they keep it as in the novel I guess we got to get ready for some disgusting stuff😭
Finished the whole book. How the author handed SA was horrendous. I couldn’t enjoy the rest of the novel because the logic behind how people were approaching the situation was insane.
Gaslighting, minimizing the issue, telling the victim to get over it and be with their assaulter because he’s “hot” and rich and likes him…these people are insane. I would rather have seen an arc where both of them learn to heal from the incident - without other people minimizing the severity of the harm and not supporting the victim.
I think he only reason Mine is with Night is because he was pushed into it. And to have so many people that “love” him tell him he’s better off staying with a r*apist and should ignore his own triggers…i hate every single character in this story. Gross behavior.

actually looking back at anything that happened between them disgusts me now😭😭 and the brother - what the hell??! definitely not protective enough towards his little fricking brother... and how the friends talked about it like girl what?? they can be friends again because "it was a long time ago"??! - this def something (at least for me) that you do not forgive just because some time passed😭
