Then we get to the “get ready” sequence… okay listen, I get what they were going for — artsy vibes, lingering shots, building a mood — but why did it feel like each shot lasted a whole decade?? 😭 The blurry-to-clear moment when he picks up his glasses? That was actually a cute idea! But it kinda didn’t land, especially since all the earlier shots were crystal clear. Still, I appreciated the effort. A for aesthetic, I guess?!
First misfortune strikes! And suddenly he’s like SUPER flustered… I mean yes, nearly getting hit by a car will do that, but didn’t he say he likes staying invisible and not talking to people?? Why are we now having a full dramatic eye-contact showdown in the middle of the street 😭 Also that slo-mo?? Please… I can't. 😭
