Just finished watching episode 12. I really enjoyed watching episodes 1-10 but the last two episodes lacked depth of emotions. IDK it just seemed dull. Nevertheless, I still rate the drama 7.8/10
Also I just realized they released episode 12 as well which I thought they were gonna do on Tuesday. BRB Imma go watch episode 12 and then try not to shit on this episode as well.
UGGHHHH WHYYY did episode 11 felt excruciatingly long and painful. Like everything in this episode felt so slow and for some reason the chemistry lacked. The tone of the ml and fl sounded so monotoned. This drama was a solid 9/10 from episode 1-10 and then BAMM episode 11 was introduced and it went straight downhill. Whats wrong with k dramas these days loosing their spark towards the very end. Like does the writers and directiors suddenly start smoking crack towards the end? THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED
NOW YALL. The secretary deserves an apology from us viewers. We thought she was a devil but turned out she was such an angel. ALSOOOO can we talk about how she slayed when it came to resigning. She resigned with such grace and her confident way of speaking is just WOW.
WOWWWW. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed episode 9 more than I anticipated. Loved how both the ML and FL accepted their emotions and realized they were both wrong in the past. Especially loved how they DIDNT PLAY THE VICTIM CARD.
Get your sense checked out. lol all jokes aside I guess everyone has their personal preferences and while I do admit they don't necessarily have the hottest chemistry I have seen in all my years of watching K-dramas. The chemistry is aight. I'm watching it for their cutenesss.

Thats the thing though. Even if she got together with the 2nd ML, I can't justify it to be a happy ending ESPECIALLY if the whole story was revolving around the ML and the FL. Like what was the author thinking when he was showing chemistry and love between the ml and the fl 95% of the show and then BAMMM he just decided to pair the 2nd lead with her.I know the second lead loved the princess but still my girl should have been with the ML ncskcsnvheivksvs. Girl idk how to explain. I guess I will just mourn for the next couple of days and move on. Even better I will give them a happy ending in my dreams tonight and will completely ignore the fact episode 9 and 10 even existed.

Oh gosh how much episode 9 and 10 broke me is beyond words. You can't convince me stuff like " This was an open ending" when in reality, it clearly wasn't. Let me tell you exactly why.
1) The author's note in the end saying "To all those spring flowers in the world, although I couldn't achieve it, I hope your lives wont be like mine". Which is a direct way of saying to the viewers she didn't get her happy ending with the ML in the Joseon era.
2) She fell in love with the 2nd ml in the modern era and took his number. However, when she bumped into the ml from the Joseon era, she ignored him like a stranger and there was no more talking points between them which indicates a closing chapter of her with the ml in the joseon era and the modern era.
If were talking about f**ed up ending, this drama takes the cake. This is like scarlet heart ryeo 2.0.
In conclusion, I genuinely didn't expect this drama to take such a deep turn and to actually have plot considering the first couple of episodes were silly and hilarious and awkward in a more intimate sensual way but wow was I shocked when plot was introduced around episode 5.
