i just finished ep 13 and wanted to compliment how amazingly written the arc with the savage woman was. despite looking different from a normal human being she still is inherently good and human, providing food for Cao and 13 and also carrying down 13 to the village when she thought he was injured. but throughout the whole arc she was just misunderstood and wronged the whole time. she got her leg injured and then killed by the village men because they thought she was a threat. i’ld like to think that this was an intentional jab at how horrid human nature is when we are faced with something or someone different, making assumptions right off the bat and assuming the worst of them just because they’re different. this whole arc was quite tragic and really hit hard for me.
wow ive just started ep1 and the scene where they read out the bl scenes from the books… as someone who understands chinese, that was probably the most uncomfortable, shocking yet hilarious thing ive ever had to experience. the eng trans do absolutely no justice
so is ml currently suspecting fl of being in cohorts with the kidnapper because on the cctv footage it looks like the kidnapper got into fls car without resistance??
aaaa the auction scene in ep2 where DW thanks YZJ but mentions his name ‘Master Yan’. and the slight suprised expression he made after. the details in his acting are impeccable.
really can’t compliment the cinematography enough. the color palette is dark rich yet vibrant. gives off similar vibes to my journey to you. probably thanks to guo jing ming
this whole arc was quite tragic and really hit hard for me.
if you fill up her universe
her heart naturally becomes small
