I know there's no hope for him to return but my heart says he will do something in favour of LSB. Director Lu and his scenes with Lin family were all sweet. Shrike is made of stone, planning to use a kid to his advantage.

They haven't shown that clearly but I guess it has something to do with Anthrax and it was a human experiment/ they're currently experimenting on rats.

Somebody here predicted that Xu being the mole was bang on! The assassin guy was so silly and took the bait. Director Lu values Lin Shobai, and he knows it too. Their scenes are delightful to watch. I don't understand whose side Mr. Jin is on. He's an industrialist but is also killing people. There's no way back for Xu Wei. All the actors are fantastic in their roles.

Episode 20: Lu was disappointed in Lin Shobai, but so was he in himself for letting down so many people, including himself, and how hard it is for him to accept the fact that Xu Wei is not turning back ever. The change is Lin Shobai's body language was evident, waiting for him to join back with Lu.

Everything between the leads is so sweet and organic, and how they overcome their initial awkwardness to finally embracing the love It's too real. Of course, the chemistry of the leads is electrifying and beautiful! One of the most gorgeous-looking pair I've ever watched.
