I honestly hated how we got so little screen time between the leads in the last episodes, the whole amnesia/childlike…
He still played a key role in the story. I actually found the amnesia trope realistic in this case because he was already like living dead after returning from the mortal realm Yue created. He used his primordial spirit to view Yue’s past, and when the Goddess of Time warned him repeatedly that there will be consequences , he still chose to continue. I get why some people didn’t like the trope, but the truth is, he would’ve died either way. His childlike behavior softened Yue’s heart it gave her a moment to see him truly alive again.
The Yin and Yang formation was also a big deal one of them had to die, and he willingly chose that path since the formation couldn’t be broken. I liked that even after death, his soul remained by her side to help her fight of course, I wanted more screentime for him too, but at least we got more than just a five second wrap-up.
For a 32-episode drama, it honestly did better than a lot of longer xianxia shows in my opinion.
The drama had 32 episodes it will still feel rushed, i do believe if it was 36 they could do what you stated.…
It didn’t feel that unbalanced to me, but I get what you’re saying you wanted more from their resolution, and I agree with that. Still, I think it wrapped up pretty well in the end.

I also use rednote but i haven't come across complaints about what we are discussing but indeed everyone has mixed feelings about the ending. If there were not some random cuts maybe it would be simple for you to understand .

I dont think this makes sense either, my point wasn't about BJS scheming but hiding that secret, even at that scene where the villian reveled what happened, he didn't want her to know hence my point. it could be the timeline that is an issue but it is clear that BJS made that up to avoid her finding out the truth

Or he didn't get the same punishment as BJS, he could have been punished before BJS arrived. There might be some mistakes in the timelines but it makes sense because if he found out Yue was his weakness, he decided to use her to make he's scheme work. set them apart and make her kill BJS

I do think they were only repeating what they’d been told, especially the subordinate who claimed XJZ was captured by the Heavenly Lord when in reality, it was the Emissary who punished him. I believe this version was made up to cover the real reason behind XJZ’s existence, since it was mentioned that someone was sent to guard the Infinite Stele specifically Li Qing Yue and the Tree Immortal.

If he was truly practicing dark arts from the start, he would've set his plans in motion long before getting imprisoned and probably avoided meeting Yue so early to make sure everything played out perfectly. I get why it seemed like he had a lot of power, though. Even so, I still liked his story and how the whole grand scheme came together.

Here are my answers to your question, i do feel you missed someparts or some users just overly theorized which is part of the discussion.
1 I didn’t expect Lord Yuan to be one of the dragon descendants just because he wore dragon armor. His actions were never really tied to what Si Ling did it was more about what she did to the Heavenly Lord.
2 I don't think Bian's father was a wandering immortal. The sect was formed by mortals from the surrounding area through Yue's help , and he chose to send his son there to help him grow. There was no indication that he was an immortal.
3. I do agree the Four venerable are very ignorant,
4 I do think we didn’t get to explore the Time Deity’s story properly because of the limited number of episodes. 5.While in prison, he had already begun practicing dark magic, driven by hatred and powered by the souls of suffering mortals it was clearly mentioned in the drama
6. The three rockmen were people of the heavenly sect, Yue made a deal with them and trapped them for many years .
7.It was clear he wasn’t pretending, and I’m glad he wasn’t he was genuinely sick, and we saw how he never got any real rest.
8. Jinlian sect was necessary for Yue's first plan and she did spend so many years bringing up the sect.
9. In episode 3, it was mentioned that Bai Jiusi caught XJS, but that wasn’t true. It was a false story told to Yue, and she never knew that Bai Jiusi actually took the punishment for her. If she had known they were prisoners together, things would have turned out differently. Nothing was missed XJS simply revealed the truth that Bai Jiusi had been hiding. If it was true that BJS caught him, we would have seen him doing that. If you remember, BJS knew Yue was siling when she was pretending
Could have been far better. Oohh well it is what it is. I was entertained at least not gonna lie. So the drama…
His character still held up well for me , especially with the amnesia plot allowing Siling to cool down a bit . Both leads share the same power dynamic when one weakens, the other strengthens which added meaning to the resolution, even if it may have felt like mixed signals to some. While self-sacrifice is a familiar trope in Xianxia, what set this story apart was how it played with expectations through its twists and Siling’s portrayal as intelligent and resilient.
This drama was all over the place , there was no chemistry between these two ,seriously I don't know why but bai…
I respect your opinion without being biased, this drama really stands apart from most others. The ending might feel a bit confusing or not fully satisfying, overall, the story was good . The leads had genuine chemistry that suited this kind of romance driven xianxia drama. The comment section should be a space where different opinions are welcome, just to clarify, she didn’t kill the male lead.
With only 6 ep's left i really don't know where this drama heading !! Im so scared the ending will be rushed 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Let’s have faith it’s better for the drama to fully explain everything in the recent episodes than to rush or cut it short. I do wish it had more episodes though
I want to love this series, but I’m having such a difficulty getting into it (I’m currently on episode 15).…
Feud takes a slower, more reflective approach compared to other fantasy dramas. It focuses on the emotional weight of the past and how it shapes the characters’ present lives and behaviors. The male lead has a subtle presence that contrasts with the more intense leads from her past dramas, which might appeal to those who prefer a calmer dynamic. It may not be fast-paced, but if you’re in the mood for something thoughtful and emotionally layered, it’s worth giving a try.

This is a good explanation of the ending .

If they didn't lie that would raise her suspicions on why he was imprisoned and we will probably not have a twist as the writer wanted it to be .
