I'm surprised this show isn't getting more attention. It's a welcome break from all of the heavy hitting material this year. I don't mind me some fluff at the end of a rough week.
I am definitely picking up some Cinderella and the Four Knights vibes out of this. We have the Jerk, the Bad Boy, and the Sensitive Artist. We'll be getting the Jock presumably next week. I also think it means in addition to the fluff we will probably have some backstory trauma to give a bit of meat.
Yes, it's pretty obvious who she will *probably* end up with, but just enough doubt to keep it interesting.
I do think some people are missing some of the point where looks are concerned. Bunny fantasizes about good looking guys, but she won't date them initially. She seems to assume they are all shallow and not-so good looking guys have better personality. After her humiliation, she puts good looking men back on the menu because she decides the others can be just as much of jerks.
the third guy is supposed to be her happy ending (according to the original webtoon)
Don't know, I haven't read it. I've just heard about it and that it's a 3-parter. I'm simply not interested in watching a drama that doesn't get to finish its story.
Park Ki-se is still scum. Don't know where he gets off making demands of Baek-ho. Where was this conscience six…
There is a cultural aspect that needs to be kept in mind. A command as direct as he got directly from the CEO is gospel in many, ok *most*, Asian countries. This kind of crap is an issue in Korea, which is the message of the story, I think.
Even here in the US, there's far too often a disconnect between the numbers and the people those numbers represent. I've *seen* this kind of crap and even been on the receiving end at times, though not for any sort of office romance. But it has been for being inconvenient, funds, and political power.
If you think on it a bit, the actual story of this drama is Baek Ho's redemption; not just a romance. His change includes how he looks at the Potato lab, not just MK. That said, she is certainly the catalyst. Looking at how she affects the people around her, she seems to be a force for change, so that shouldn't be a big surprise.
anyway I guess it must be happy ending but its all depend on his sincerity love loyalty selflessness
Looking at the preview, it looks like he's going to be injured protecting her from a pile of things collapsing. That's going to be that selflessness you mention, I think. I just hope it is earlier rather than later in the episode.
I'll be honest. I wasn't sure about this drama after the first episode. I had just enough to give the second a shot. That episode got me to the third without too much effort. At that point I was hooked. Every single episode has been better than the previous ones and now this has become one of my favorite dramas of the year.
Even now in the later episode where things always turn a bit more serious, they still keep plenty of the trademark comedy that started it off.
This show has what so many other shows forget about. It's got real *heart*. This one is going on the short list for a binge rewatch.
As far as Ki Se? If you want a man's perspective, I don't have the least bit of sympathy for him. This jackass ruined *two* very good ladies' lives for a freaking promotion. He doesn't even have the excuse of thinking with his d*ck. And before you blame Hui Jin, it looks like she didn't find out about there being someone else until after the wedding. So I hope she doesn't get back with him. She deserves better.
Ah yes, the baseless hate brigade, because apparently, watching a rom-com just to complain that it’s a rom-com…
You know... It really does have a feel of brigading, though I don't really understand why. It's almost like there is a personal issue with someone on the cast. It's not like the story has misrepresented what it was going to be. It's been true to itself from the outset and has been one of my most enjoyable watches this year.
Of course the 2ML cheated, of fucking course he did. Now I actually do detest his character. The fact that her…
From the looks of it, Hui Jin didn't know Ki Se was taken. It looks like she got suckered for the position much the same as MK got abandoned. Which, frankly, makes me detest Ki Se even more.
The final two episodes has me worrying for the second couple I can’t lie. I understand them both to be honest.…
In her own way, Ha Jin has to overcome the same fears as Su Jeong. You notice that while she's fine sharing the good times, she's terrified of sharing the bad? Sin Won will when her over as long as he doesn't give up and is patient.
As much as I wish any number of K-drama tropes on the grandmother, I have a feeling that we are probably going to have a change of heart. Su Jeong stood up to her fearlessly and said the things that nobody have the courage to say for years. The was it left Wang speechless is a possible hint.
Don't know if anyone noticed, but my wife pointed out that the eyebrow tattoos were changing every scene. It's like they adjusted them every time for what fit the scene best.
By the end of episode 4, it's hardly a surprise they were largely gone. Guess they were henna tats.

* Cinderella and the Four Knights.
A couple of other nice fluffy ones you might like:
* Her Private Life
* King the Land
* Love to Hate You
* My Demon
And one Chinese drama that I very strongly recommend for fun and fluffy romance:
* Falling Into Your Smile
16 episodes would have been too much, but I would agree that it could have benefited from being a 14 episode run.
