Why so much hate? As for me, I LOVE this drama! :)
What is so hard to get? If you are lost, then probably the drama has left you with so many questions that remain unanswered, just like it did the rest of us.😂 But hey, go ahead and explain, I would be happy to explain.

đŸ„ș😇 that's a great review but even a trash đŸ—‘ïž can't take it so don't feel bad 😔 put it somewhere…
Well, what an interesting way to give me a compliment! But if that ‘trash’ doesn’t stand a chance against my review, what about the drama itself? Perhaps the authors might consider their janitorial duties to be a little bit more important than they actually are. I will indeed cherish the review – such an achievement is what defines the exposure of all the mediocre work people put in. Thank you! 😏

u are using chatgpt to text thus stuff, come back when you learned how to review something without any help lmao
So, now it is a crime to use tools to express ideas? I’m sorry but are we in the stone ages. It is amusing to how people like you are more interested in the etymology of the words used in the review rather than its purpose. No, really. So you will come to this level Great. Please inform me when you are able to discuss the issues rather than focus on how I phrase them. 😊

On Gangnam B-Side Nov 25, 2024
"Gangnam B-Side (2024) is not just a bad drama; it’s the kind of mistake that makes you question why anyone ever thought this was a good idea. Let’s start with the plot—a convoluted mess of clichĂ©s and half-baked twists that don’t even make sense. It’s clear the writers were more focused on trying to be edgy than actually crafting a compelling story. Every plot point feels forced, and there’s no depth to any of it. Instead of engaging us with suspense or drama, it feels like they threw random scenes together in the hope something would stick.

Now, the characters—oh boy. Whoever thought these were worth investing in needs a reality check. The lead characters are so one-dimensional that even a cardboard cutout would have more personality. The supposed 'complexities' of their motivations? Completely hollow. The prosecutor’s character is the worst offender—her supposed manipulation and climb up the ranks are so predictable and poorly executed that it’s hard to take her seriously. And don’t get me started on the detective. He’s supposed to be this noble, honest character, but instead, he’s just annoying and utterly incapable of solving anything. Every action they take seems more idiotic than the last, which kills any sense of immersion.

Let’s talk about the acting. Is anyone even trying here? The performances are so over-the-top or painfully flat that it’s hard to tell if this is a drama or a high-budget school play. The emotional moments land with a thud, and any attempt at tension feels more awkward than gripping. It’s not just bad acting—it’s an embarrassment.

And the production values? Please. The cinematography is basic, the soundtrack is forgettable, and the direction seems like it was done by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Scenes drag on with no rhythm, and the visual appeal is as non-existent as the character development. The whole thing looks like a rushed, poorly executed project that should never have seen the light of day.

Finally, the biggest crime of all—it’s boring. Despite all the so-called 'high stakes,' this drama somehow manages to be a slog to get through. The pacing is painful, the dialogue is tedious, and by the end of each episode, you’ll find yourself questioning why you didn’t just rewatch something decent. It’s a prime example of a drama that’s trying way too hard to be cool and edgy without actually understanding what makes a good story.

In short, Gangnam B-Side (2024) isn’t just a bad drama—it’s a disaster. It’s an insult to the viewer’s time, with nothing to offer but frustration, confusion, and second-hand embarrassment. Don’t waste your time. There are literally thousands of better dramas out there. This one should have stayed in development hell where it belongs."

They are not useless they are just independent in thier field. procecuter was totaly manipulated by her boss but…
I get what you're saying, but calling them 'useless' misses the bigger picture. They're caught in a system of corruption where every step they take is sabotaged from the top. Prosecutor Min and Detective Dong Wo are both playing a dangerous game, trying to outsmart their higher-ups, but it's not as simple as just 'doing their job.' They’re working with a corrupt system that makes it almost impossible to succeed without compromising themselves. Sure, they’ve made mistakes, but it’s not that they’re 'useless'—they’re just trapped in a game where honesty and integrity can’t always get you ahead."

As for @Hannaehh, I get your frustration. Dong Wo’s promises fell apart, and now his mistakes are catching up to him. But you can’t ignore that these characters have been put in impossible situations by the system, and it’s that system that’s messing everything up. No one’s perfect, but they’re all working with the cards they’ve been dealt. It’s a messy, complex situation—just like real life, where good intentions are often crushed by corruption."

They are more helpless than useless. Surrounded by the sea of corruption from the top, these honest officers can't…
@Finch2003 I see your point, but I don’t think it’s about being 'helpless' as much as it’s about the system working against them. In a corrupt environment, even the most honest officers are bound by limitations, and that’s a huge part of why they’re struggling. The problem isn’t just incompetence—it’s that they’re constantly up against a wall built by those above them. They can only do so much without facing major consequences.

people who voted cha eunwo đŸ€Ą
Oh, so now we’re insulting people for their choices? Interesting. Just because you like Ji Chang Wook doesn’t mean everyone else has to follow your lead. People voted for Cha Eun Woo because they like him, not because you think it’s some kind of joke. Maybe you should focus on your own vote instead of policing others'. It's a free world—people can pick who they like without you acting like a troll."

Is there any chance to Jenny be alive?Honestly I lost my interest TT_TT
"Honestly, at this point, I wouldn’t hold my breath. The show has been pretty relentless in pushing her storyline to its limit, and unless they pull out some absurd plot twist, her chances of being alive seem pretty slim. I get why you're losing interest—at this rate, the drama feels like it’s just dragging on with no real payoff. Sometimes, it's better to move on and save yourself the frustration. Hopefully, the show picks up pace again or at least gives us something worth watching."

"Thinking of watching Gangnam B-Side (2024)? Prepare yourself for a show that tries way too hard to be edgy and 'cool,' but ends up falling flat. The plot is messy, the characters are forgettable, and it leans heavily on style over substance. If you’re looking for something deep or truly original, this might not be it. However, if you're just in the mood for some mindless drama with flashy visuals and don't mind a bit of chaos, you might find some enjoyment. Just don’t expect it to blow your mind or leave a lasting impression."

Best drama of 2024 deserve more popularity & success Congratulations for being no 1 on Disney+ worldwide
@Live your own life Oh, you think it's the best drama of 2024? That’s cute. Just because it’s number 1 on Disney+ doesn’t automatically make it the best—it just means it’s getting the most attention, not the most quality. Popularity doesn’t equate to excellence, and clearly, your opinion is just another example of following the crowd instead of forming a real, independent judgment.

But hey, if you want to keep celebrating mediocrity, go ahead. Not everyone is going to blindly jump on the hype train just because it’s trending. Congratulations on your superficial 'success' in the ratings, but let’s be real: it’s still a forgettable, overrated show.

"Gangnam B-Side (2024) – the drama that proves even a high budget and a strong cast can't save a trainwreck of a script. It’s a half-baked attempt at something 'cool' and 'gritty,' but ends up being a jumbled mess of clichĂ©s and predictable plotlines. The characters are so one-dimensional, you'd think they were written by an AI that only studied soap operas. It’s #1 on Disney+ for all the wrong reasons—popularity doesn’t mean quality, and this one barely scratches the surface of what could’ve been a decent show. If you’re into style over substance, then sure, go ahead, but don’t expect anything that’ll stick with you after the credits roll."

cheap ass L watcher đŸ€ĄđŸž . best go watch Dora or sinchan even shows likes Dora and sinchan doesn't deserve…
Wow, you’re trying so hard to sound cool, but all you’ve done is write a middle-school-level insult that screams desperation. 'Cheap ass L watcher'? Really? That’s the best you’ve got? You’re over here talking about sending 'burnal' like some wannabe internet thug, but all you’ve managed to send is secondhand embarrassment.

And let’s not even start on the Dora and Shinchan reference—are those the peak of your intellectual inspirations? I’d suggest you stick to watching them yourself; maybe they’ll teach you some basic vocabulary or how to insult someone without sounding like a walking joke.

Here’s a tip: next time, take a deep breath, come up with something remotely clever, and then maybe—just maybe—you won’t look like a total clown. Until then, don’t waste my time, you budget insult factory. 👋"

Oh wow, such a creative insult—you’re really pushing the boundaries of cringe here. Calling me a 'cheap ass L watcher' while writing a comment that looks like it was slapped together by a sleep-deprived clown is ironic, don’t you think? You’re clearly more obsessed with me than the drama itself. Maybe take your own advice and apply that 'burnal' to your brain—it seems like it’s overheating from trying too hard to sound edgy.

And sending me your medical-grade ointment? How thoughtful! Too bad I don’t need it, but I’ll gladly forward it back to you—clearly, you’re projecting your own struggles here. Next time, come up with a roast that doesn’t make you look like the very đŸ€ĄđŸž you’re trying to use as an insult. Now go sit down, reflect on your life choices, and don’t have a nice fucking day. Bye. ✌"

Oh, I see, so because it’s 'better than romcoms' in your opinion, I’m not allowed to call it trash? Newsflash: my standards aren’t as low as yours. Just because it’s not a romcom doesn’t automatically make it good.

Maybe instead of getting so offended over someone not liking your favorite drama, you should 'get a grip' and accept that people have different tastes. Not everyone is obligated to agree with you. Try again when you’ve got a real argument."

Didn't understand the logic buddy. You said you didn't understand it so probably carefully observe the subtitles…
"Oh wow, thanks for the groundbreaking advice, 'buddy.' So you're saying if I don’t like a drama, it must be because I didn’t understand it? Genius logic. Maybe instead of assuming I didn’t watch carefully, you should consider that the drama just didn’t make sense or wasn’t as good as you think it is.

Not everyone is obligated to worship something just because you and your 'friends' think it's flawless. A bad story is a bad story, no matter how many times you rewatch it or overanalyze subtitles. So no, I don’t need to 'post questions' here—some things are just beyond fixing."

Listen, I'm not here to sugarcoat my opinions or make everyone happy. I watched the drama, and in my honest opinion, it didn’t deliver what I expected. Calling it 'trash' reflects my disappointment with the storytelling, pacing, and overall execution—not a lack of respect for the hard work behind it. Just because you or others enjoyed it doesn’t mean everyone has to.

Instead of lecturing me about 'negativity,' why not focus on why you liked the drama? I’m allowed to say it’s bad if that’s how I feel. If you can’t handle criticism or differing opinions, maybe this isn’t the place for you. At the end of the day, I’m sharing my perspective, just like you’re sharing yours. Respect goes both ways.
