I’m not mistaken right? a lot of the cast from Dashing Youth has reprised their roles right. and some have new roles but still were in Dashing Youth. if so, awesome. I love continuity and it helps me get a better timeline.

Xiao Shun Yao is unbelievably, beautifully distracting lol. between him and my bias Bai Shu …I am fulfilled 💕

maybe it’s just me but…the princess, annoying

even though I enjoyed all of these, someone should’ve checked the timeline for everything. some of the backstory from Hot Blooded, doesn’t match with what was shown in the 4 prequels. So it was frustrating for me. but if you watch out of order or. it all at once, it’s not as noticeable and I’d still recommend. Just…don’t try to match the timelines.

this is o ex that I can skip plenty of episodes and not miss anything. I went from 1 to episode 6 bc I wanted them to get on with it. I feel as I get older or watch more dramas they’re taking too long to develop,or I’ve become impatient. probably a bit of both.

after reading the novel it’s hard to accept all the changes to the drama. I like parts of the novel more than the drama but both enjoyable in their own way.

they’re jelly…he’s down to earth, handsome, and sings a lot of the OSTs that we are familiar with.

is it too shallow of me to say this had to have the most attractive cast I can think of in a while. main and secondary.

how they put it lol. Wei Yan came back to just the foundation of the house. it was gone gone lol.

he was ruthless enough that this seems like a parallel version. the worst that you can imagine in that regard is what I would say and much sooner than it occurred in the drama. the transition from love to hate was just as random there as in the novel. I’ll add spoiler since some may not like to know about this version.

I’ve never been able to picture him outside of Side Story of Fox Valant I keep looking at the cast list to remind myself that’s really him lol

really wish they had kept the fight from the novel. I felt the pain in that version more. but Wei Yan’s speech in the drama I felt that.

she’s even more worse in the novel. I couldn’t keep waiting for episodes so I started reading. both are good in their own way.
