10 /10 A Romance That Never Comes Together

10 /10 A Romance That Never Comes Together
Guang Yuan had an interesting premise, but unfortunately it never manages to turn its ideas into an engaging story. The biggest issue is the complete lack of chemistry between the leads. Their relationship feels distant from beginning to end, making it difficult to become emotionally invested in their journey. Instead of building tension or romance, the series often feels flat and disconnected.

The pacing doesn’t help either. What starts as a modest, slow-burn story gradually loses momentum, with several episodes feeling repetitive rather than meaningful. By the second half, the narrative becomes even harder to follow, and the emotional payoff never arrives.

While the production has a few decent moments, stiff performances and uneven storytelling prevent the drama from reaching its potential. Even viewers who enjoy slower romances may struggle to stay invested.

If you’re looking for a heartfelt BL with memorable chemistry and satisfying character development, there are many stronger options available. Sadly, Guang Yuan ends up being more frustrating than rewarding, making this an easy pass.

10/10 Perfection in TV Show

I tend to stay away from TV shows with lots of subtitles, usually to my detriment, but when I saw they had created Shogun I had to try. I'm glad I did. Literally after 20 mins of the first episode I was fully engrossed to the point I forgot it had subtitles. The production, acting, storyline, everything about this show ozzes class, emotion, depth and attention to detail. It's like being transported back to the beginning of 17th century Japan, the culture, customs and way of life on full display. The real genius of the novel and this TV show is the story of the westerner in the East, though his eyes you take the journey with him and also you grow with him as you slowly appreciate the resilience, dedication and honour of the Japanese people. I highly recommend this show, it's a worthy winner of every award it has won, all that's left to say is ...roll on season 2!

9/10 Refreshingly different and surprisingly heartfelt

Cosmetic Playlover exceeded my expectations with its unique workplace setting and charming romance. The chemistry between the leads is fantastic, making every interaction feel natural and heartfelt as they grow together. Despite only having eight episodes, the story never feels rushed, balancing sweet moments with emotional character development. A few repetitive conflicts and a slightly underwhelming finale keep it from perfection, but it’s still a warm, engaging J-BL that stands out from the usual formula.

9/10 A beautiful anthology about the challenges that couples face

9/10 A beautiful anthology about the challenges that couples face
This is a beautiful white series with lots of comedy and tenderness that explores hardships that long term couples face. Each of the 5 episodes is centered on a different aspect of relationships and is portrayed by a couple that was formed on another show.
1. Pick and Rome from Senior secret love puppy honey will explore the challenge of not being able to understand each other's way of living in perhaps the funniest episode of all.
2. In and Sun from My dear loser, edge of 17 will face the consequences of fear of commitment in a funny and tender episode.
3. Tee and the adorable Mork (I had to say it) from Cause you're my boy will be challenged by trust and jealousy.
4. Pete and Kao from Kiss me the series and Dark blue kiss will be faced with routine and fighting.
5. And Arthit and Kongpop from Sotus will have to work out of their relationship will be able to withstand longterm distance in perhaps the most poignant of the episodes. And for those who doubt the ability of these guys to act, watch in this episode the scene where Krist (Arthit) breaks down on the riverside, it made my heart sink to my stomach.
I'm not pony one to give a 9 easily at all. This series is not high art or Shakespeare, it's a a white romantic comedy about relationships. But it's very good at it and in each episode you laugh, you feel for them, you get a nice story and a nice smile on your face when the credits roll. Also a good photography and music to fit each episode. A well rounded job.

7/10 Love Sea (Japanese Adaptation)

7/10 Love Sea (Japanese Adaptation)………………………………………………………../////////////////////////
This Japan BL series is adapted from Thailand's Love Sea.
They stayed true to the original plot and that is the key element of making a successful adaptation. This series was well directed and the main couple and side couple had a good chemistry. The acting was decent from most actors and actresses. And just like the original Love Sea, this one has several spicy NC scenes. So if you don't like to see same sex intimate scenes, don't watch this series.

10/10 A dark korean BL

A Korean seroche with actors all over thirty (31, 33, 34) and all of them, as is often the case in East Asia, looked ten years younger. I was curious about the project. The first parts were gloomy and at the same time seductive, rough.
I had already seen actor Jeong Ri U, who plays Jeonghan, somewhere and at first I didn't know whether to hate or love him, because from a despot and a rude man he gradually turned out to be an unhappy loving lamb. In any case, he charmed me over the course not only with how he portrayed the character, but also with his aura, appearance, tall figure, long fingers. In the dark beginning, in his apartment that looked like a poorly lit pharmacy, he sexually abused his half-cousin llya, whom the creators hit on the head with a frying pan so that he would have the affine up to his eyes and look like E.T. at first. But everything gradually changed, especially with the incredible turn in the characters' behavior. I fell in love with both of them. There were also small flaws in the processing and details, but that was not important. What was important was how addictive the whole story made me with the Korean acting's austere coldness and unmistakable deep-sounding language ... just great.
I also really liked Suhyo- the cafe manager with his beautiful Korean face, this time without affine. Great satisfaction.

10/10 The Cursed Love - The Series That Stole My Heart

10/10 The Cursed Love - The Series That Stole My Heart
I don't even know where to start because this series has truly captured my whole heart! "The Cursed Love" is pure magic - every scene, every glance, every emotion feels so real and beautiful that I can't stop thinking about it. fo
The acting is incredible, and the chemistry between the main leads is just breathtaking - so natural, so deep, and so full of emotion. Every time they're on screen together, it feels like the world stops for a moment. Their connection is something truly special. +
The story itself is amazing - full of emotion, mystery, and love. I wait for every new episode like it's a gift, and it never disappoints. It's such an underrated series that deserves so much more love and support!
And the OST... oh my heart ( Sung by one of the main leads, Ongsa Tthuchh, his voice is absolutely stunning - melodic, warm, and full of feeling. It fits the story perfectly and adds an extra layer of emotion to this already beautiful series.
"The Cursed Love" isn't just a show - it's an experience, a feeling, something that stays with you long after the episode ends.

10/10 "Series So Good Even Its Haters Can't Look Away"

Burnout Syndrome is a razor-sharp, emotionally charged series that isn't afraid to dig into the realities of modern pressure-ambition, mental fatigue, societal expectations, and the quiet breaking points people hide. Its relevance hits even harder today, as the world debates whether artificial intelligence can ever replace the depth, nuance, and raw humanity of real artists. This series answers that question boldly: it cannot.
Gun Atthaphan delivers a performance so layered and visceral it's impossible to look away. Off Jumpol brings grounded intensity and emotional precision, while Dew commands every scene with quiet power and surprising depth. Together, their chemistry elevates the narrative into something unforgettable. Their work is a masterclass in what human storytelling truly looks like.
The success of Burnout Syndrome has also exposed an unfortunate truth-some people, threatened by its impact, have tried to smear its reputation out of sheer jealousy. It's almost embarrassing how transparent those attempts are.
But in the end, the pettiness only proves the show's strength. When a series is this good, it naturally rattles those who can't compete with its quality.
Bold, timely, brilliantly performed, and unapologetically human-Burnout Syndrome stands as solid proof that authentic talent will always outshine manufactured noise.

10/10 office romance, age gap, employee/boss, food is the love language, coming of age late in life

10/10 office romance, age gap, employee/boss, food is the love language, coming of age late in life
At first because of the visuals of the actors, I thought it would be boring to watch - An old guy falling in love with young guy.
But dang !!!
I was wrong. And good that I was wrong.
It is such a brrath of fresh air. I loved this series.
It's about a younger man with a long cherished crush on his boss (ten years older and going through a mid life crisis who decides to save and seduce said man with pancakes.
It's wholesome, comforting, sexy, and a very necessary narrative about still having hope, interests, and openness to affection at any age. It's coming of age/queerness packaged in a subtle critique of expectations around masculinity and love and loneliness... and it's beautiful.
MUST WATCH!!

9/10 Wonderful 2nd chance love

9/10 Wonderful 2nd chance love
"I will follow you.
Forever, all my life.
No matter where it is."
Heartbreak, hurt, fears, insecurities, and learning to trust again are the tropes of this series. And, oh, does it do them justice!
I felt every heartbreak.
Every past memory hit right where it hurts.
Their love is simply mesmerizing to me.
This series also underlines how hard it is true grand trust again after having been hurt that badly before.
Hence, there is a lot of drama here. However, these dramatic aspects are not front and center, but rather an underlying current. This makes it all the more amazingly good to me.
The ending is really amazing as it turns their story into a circle with the ending they should have had from the start.

10/10 A Heartthrob Journey Of Navigating First Love (and Friendship)

Kakeru and Yamato shows that when two souls know each other, nothing stops them from being together. This is a sweet story about how feelings can be complicated, but yet so sweet and subtle.
Kimi ni wa Todokanai is fresh, clean and feels like a dream.
The backdrops, the bridges, the costumes, the gardens are so perfect that the entire series just laid out a nice theme for these young lovers. And I loved every scene of this series.
Yamato played by Kentaro Maeda is the handsome young man who looks stunning in all those statement clothes and wraps and overalls. But I just fell in love with Kakeru played by the charming Haru Kashiwagi and his expression of being confused or just having a bad hair day. Both these men have the perfect chemistry of hesitation, affection, confession, feelings, confusion and ultimately love for each other.
I loved to see the pair in each other arms. When I find the person who loves only me in all the world, I would drop everything to be with him and just to be there in his arms..
Kakeru, you did the right thing, trust your heart!!

10/10 I love this so much, please season 3

10/10 I love this so much, please season 3
First off I'd like to say it love is love. If you have an issue with someone loving some one else than that's your problem.
There's no grooming so stop talking about it or acting like there was ever. This is a very good show. Shintaro is a smart young man and knows what he wants in life and figured it out at a young age. Akria on the other hand Shintaro's love interest well...lol different' story. It seems like he didn't know what to do with his life and just went with the flow.
That doesn't mean he isn't a good soul tho. When they where both younger it turns out Akira saved Shintaro's life and that event stayed with him for ever and that's what made him fall in love with Akira. Shintaro makes a promise to himself he doesn't want to see Akria cry and wants to be by his side for ever to protect him.
I feel like season one started out slow and I would have loved to see Akira stop acting like the way he did the first half of the show. Even when Shintaros an Adult he still acts the same way it even continues in season 2. I really want to see a season 3 but he needs to stop acting like a kid. I feel like most of the problems could have been avoid if Akira would grow up and stop causing them and just ell him how he feels and stop pushing Shin away. I feel like i spend the half of the second season yelling at akira to stop breaking the relationship lol. I want to see there relationship as a real couple now for season 3.

10/10 My favorite
Seriously, the series is a masterpiece, the characters are amazing, the interaction between them is amazing, and Om's acting is 10/10 as usual. Ling is amazing. He's very handsome, and his acting is very beautiful, literally, actually.
I have been enjoying this series for a while now and look forward to watching it every Friday. I'm currently obsessed with the duo. They are my favorite duo now. The series, in terms of story and acting, is very wonderful, and the atmosphere of the series is enjoyable, from sadness to extreme joy. I highly recommend watching the series, you will not regret it. My passion has truly returned. I love Om and Ling very much.

10/10 Excellent

10/10 Excellent
So far (ep. 9), it has been an incredible love story and not because it is extravagant or shocking, but because this is a story where the beauty lies in the characters' authenticity and the show's celebration of queer love in an everyday setting. They paid attention to all the right details and it shows. Duang's patience, intentionality, and vulnerability are rewarded as he pursues Qin who learns how to heal through the process and opens himself up to the possibilities of a kind, gentle, and all-encompassing love.! have rewatched so many parts of this story already and I will hold it dear to my heart for a long time. They took what could've been a mundane or even boring storyline and highlighted all the beautiful things that love can do when two people put in the work to water it and to maintain it.
Lastly, their ability to show us true queer sexual and nonsexual intimacy truly made me fall in love for this story.
The chemistry between the actors is off the charts and it shows all throughout the show. Oh Teetee and Por, I hope you get all your flowers. It has been so much fun (with some agony) to wait every week for the episodes. Also all OSTs of this show are magnificent!!!
