Omg yeah I was feeling the same way!!! I was sooooo annoyed at Beom-Seok!!!! Like I get it I feel sorry for you but why start hating your friend whom you wanted to save and even risked your life to save him from actual gangsters… and then suddenly he wants to kill him because of a girl???? They weren’t even dating!!! Thats so stupid!!! Not a good enough excuse

I'm going to add that the image of the actual Sa-eon being a psychopathic killer from childhood didn't match grown…
thats so true as well!!!

Review Melo Movie
The ML’s brother is played by Kim Jae-uck, who’s been in many dramas worth watching, including Her Private…
Definitely keeping it in mind. some of them are already on my to-watch list already i think

totally agree!!! You mentioned some things i forgot to mention in my review so more reasons why I gave it a 4 😂
And yes Do Jae’s story was impressive! If only the drama kept on exposing more of that side of the story…

the last episode why I bumped it from 7 to 4 stars!!! it was completely unnecessary and felt like the end to a completely different drama!!?? like wtf???

so basically ‘melo’ means romance in Korean. Slightly different from what we imagine when we hear ‘melodrama’ in English

very on point! you are absolutely right!!! also the fact that all the 3 new male wildcard contestants looked like they just walked out of the same plastic surgery was ridiculous!!! xD i think season 2 was the best by far!!! for me season 3 was much worse than s4 as i really really hates gwanhee!!! but season 1 was not much better either imo. werent there like 4 men all chasing the chanel girl???

Yes unfortunalty, it was aired with the divorce news of the FL in real life, which got a huge backlash because…

And yet you rated Nevertheless 9/10.
that was a good drama tho! Quite realistic as it also represented young uni students

ohhh really? i think non-romance fans like myself can enjoy this drama too. it is not a very cliche romance i think. thats why i enjoyed it. also for me it wasnt that chill tbh as i had to cry at a few scenes 🥲

I disliked season 1 too and I think i gave it a 5 or 6. However I actually LOVED season 2!!! The Russian Roulette…
but lol totally agree with you on the VIPs !! Hated them! and in general just hated s1 more and more towards the end. It just kept getting worse and worse… The beginning was fun and interesting but the end just ruined it for me. Seeing how s2 has started gives me hope that we will find closure with a good ending in s3

I disliked season 1 too and I think i gave it a 5 or 6. However I actually LOVED season 2!!! The Russian Roulette scene alone carried the whole season imo, partly thanks to Gong Yoo’s acting. I did like the games in s2 much better so far. i feel like they are more exclusively Korean games whereas s1 only had the dalgona game and squid game as Korean only games. All the other games like marbles, tug of war etc are not new to most people. Also I liked the plot of fighting back and seeing more of the frontman.
In the end Squid Game is not a series that focuses on good writing judging from season 1. It started as a sensationalized / shocking drama so i cant expect sophisticated writing with this. But in s2 I was glad that it didn’t fully focus on just the gore and shock and slaughter.
