If you read through the comment section or reviews, you would know why majority hate this season. Or did you read…
You explained clearly in your first reply. which was very rational and coherent. After that, replies weren't necessary. The fact that they think they struck a nerve just based on your first reply should make it obvious they're basically asking for some attention.

Its more obvious when you realize they used the word "hating", disregarding the difference between hating and criticism. As if trying to establish the "criticism" is unjustified. So yes. it was disrespectful. If they can't understand the clearly written constructive criticisms, your replies won't either. They've already made their mind with their twisted fantasies.

Like at this point its tiresome seeing all these koreaboos whining and complaining when their favorite show doesn't get their expected rating and labeling the criticism as hate. There is a reason this website is not taken seriously.

TLDR: dont argue with dumb kids who have zero rational thinking capacity.

I’ve been complaining about MDL ratings a lot recently. Youd see a drama with trash storyline getting high ratings…
What you said is right but the statement about everyone's loving it, is simply not true. While IMDB s2 rating is 7.5 , and rotten tomato's Popcornmeter is only at 63% (as of commenting).

Even though charlie stated he likes it for first two minutes, then he proceeds to mention the exact reasons why S2 was not liked by many.

People like OP can say all negative reviews are fake, but it contradicts cause if that was true Squid game S1 would had a very low rating also. Its laughable to think every hater would go out their way to create fake accounts just to not agree with you.

I really don't get the hate. S2 was great. Yes, there was no plot twist or wau moments like in S1. But I loved…
Its not bad. But its far from great. People who are invested in the main story were expecting a proper sequel that answers and justifies everything happened in S1. What we got is a draggy second Episode of a dystopian reality show.

It doesn't explain why Front man wanted to join the game with Gi Hun. Il Nam had motivation. Why front man tho. To keep Gi Hun in check? I mean they changed the games already, and Front Man literally saved them from dying. yet he messes them up during the top spinning game. What exactly was he trying to do? You see the issue? a lot of build up that gets nowhere and we end up with a cliffhanger. a lot of questions was raised instead of answering S1's questions. its messy. Not to mention similar story and characters patterns as S1. but worse.
On Squid Game Season 2 Dec 27, 2024
all they had to do is answer the questions raised in S1, a way to retribute/outsmart the antagonists and give a satisfying revenge plot. simply put a closure. but netflix is like nah fam.

What we got a replica that follows the same pattern as S1, almost similar set of characters, but contradicting what was set previously, bad cinematography and misplaced comic relief, and a main character with zero character development.

It was blatantly obvious that they were milking the series. So much build up yet it goes nowhere. quickly gets blunt from ep4 and ends with a cliffhanger. A good way to piss off fans.

It's just made for those who wanted to see more games being played. like a reality show that does the exact same thing every episode. but with new guests with a little bit of twists. The cinematography was like a reality show with all that zooming in. out and panning. Still hated it.

Not really hopeful on S3, already feels draggy, S2 takes away a lot of the charm and wash away what S1 created. Wasted potential that deserves respectable closure.

People are allowed to have different opinion than yours. They can love a drama and rate it good. if they don't…
fair enough.

You know, if you don’t like a drama, you can just stop watching it instead of giving it low scores. That’s…
People are allowed to have different opinion than yours. They can love a drama and rate it good. if they don't and felt it wasted their time, they can certainly rate it bad.

That's what ratings are for. Not for rating good only. :)

Ha Eun Gyeol's father is not born deaf, so him not able to speak or make sound after hearing loss doesn't make…
sure, if that helps you justify factual errors. ig there's no such thing as flawed fantasy drama/movie then.

Well. the fantasy element is the time travel part. which has nothing to do with my two points...

A masterclass in great script writing. There are no plot holes in the script and the pacing was perfect. Personally…
Ha Eun Gyeol's father is not born deaf, so him not able to speak or make sound after hearing loss doesn't make sense.

Also, Choi Se-kyeong, On Eun-yoo looking so similar that nobody can differentiate them just because they are mom and daughter felt like they were forcing it. Even identical twins can be distinguishable.

These two bugs me, other than that it was a well crafted story.

The rage bait by the writers really worked on me. Acting was top notch.

Story wise, Sanha's mom should be in a mental asylum. Everyone's shitting on her so I'm not gonna do her much. But yeah she should've gotten mental help way back when Sanha was a kid, instead she reproduced? using a little kid as a abusing weapon years later and still blaming? Where in reality she is to be blamed for child negligence, massive massive red flag, smh. A bit flawed writing, just because she shouldn't be allowed to roam freely and cause suffering. at least in Moon Knight the abusive mother died. send Sanha's mom to Ashecliffe.

I really hope they don't make the two moms and that one rich mf dad redeeming characters. This is very common in Kdrama, None of the parents who abandoned the kids have any redeeming qualities, even the aunt is pathetic, still keeping touch with her sister. The story is showing them as horrible adults, But the six main leads as reasonable, and patient? Like why they're so nice at this point...

Cut the niceness, Just go savage on them and confront them so that they have no choice but to leave with shame, leave so far that we don't have to see them coming back for the remaining episodes. Let us have a satisfying revenge on abusive parents. or Just let them out of the story and move something towards better. if the whole story is about them im done for.

sorry had to get this off my chest.
