I love a strong female lead, but here she feels stronger than she is supposed to be. The male lead is more experienced and better trained, so it feels a bit absurd that a female lead with no prior training is suddenly stronger than him. She keeps knocking people out, 1st the male lead and then that Li guy, and now it starts to feel unrealistic. Also, the rules never seem to apply to her. The 1st time she broke them, she could say she was not aware, but the 2nd time she knowingly breaks the rules and still faces no punishment. This makes the character feel a bit inconsistent. The actress did a wonderful job, but I think the character should have been toned down a little.
As more episodes come with laughter and happiness, I keep thinking that she’s eventually going to find out about him and all that happiness will be over. If I were her, I would definitely feel betrayed, but at the same time I would understand that his identity is very important, and revealing himself was a huge risk for him.
Crazy idea, but what if the murderer is one of the fans who broke into his house? They knew the password and where the camera was. The police also said it looked like the place had been searched, so maybe they were looking for something. If it’s the ex, that feels too obvious, and the manager and the CEO were together during the phone call, and the door unlocking was clearly recorded. I don’t think it’s a new character either, that would be really disappointing. But the fan would have to be strong enough to kill him, and there were no signs of struggle, which makes it seem like he knew the person. Then again, he was intoxicated too. I don’t know, it’s just fun guessing.
The story started off really well, but the ending was kind of disappointing. LJL’s image as a ruthless, merciless character was reduced to someone sentimental and indecisive. I did like how RSB was portrayed as powerful, cunning, and able to stand strong, but honestly, LJL should’ve stayed true to his character. Overall, the ending didn’t really land for me.
