Everything is going well, but the romance feels a bit messy. The ML is like a puppy constantly following her, while she stays really cold toward him. I don’t mind this dynamic, but he could have toned it down a bit. A slower, more gradual romance would have been much more interesting.
I knew bom was one of the YouTubers, but I couldn’t remember his face, so I went back to the episode where they were introduced. When you look closely, he was itching his arm, acting kind of suspicious, and seemed a bit shocked when he saw the doll. The clues might have been there from the start, just very subtle. Based on how the story is going, the guy at the temple could be Atikun, but there are still three episodes left, so it might be someone else.
I don’t think the grandma is wrong for letting Shanbao take the vow. She doesn’t know the ML’s true identity, and as far as she knows, he has lost his memories, so her decision feels natural, especially given her own past experiences. Maybe not everything she said about her story is completely true, but at this point, all we can do is make assumptions.
The FL, on the other hand, already knew the ML’s identity from the beginning. She just didn’t know about the case. The ML also had to finish what he started. He even said before leaving that it was a life-and-death matter, but that message never really reached her. I really hope they reconcile, because both of them are cunning, manipulative, and constantly hiding things from each other, which makes their dynamic even more interesting.
I don’t mind sad or open endings sometimes, but this one didn’t really hit for me. It’s not that it was bad at all, the leads did a great job and their performances were solid throughout. The problem for me was the ending, which felt rushed, like too many things were wrapped up too quickly. There were also a lot of injustices left unresolved, so it didn’t feel very satisfying in the end. That said, the CGI and the OST were good and definitely stood out.
Today I saw a reel and noticed that everyone in Blood River has similar brooches, like they’re meant only for Blood River members. Did anyone noticed it?
Why is when a male lead looks older and the fl is a giant baby aka prisoner of beauty the plot is what is important…
I think it’s important to consider that the ML was actually a pampered baby. His six brothers always treated him like a child, and that’s what shapes his character arc ,he grows up and matures because of everything that happens. It’s true they didn’t think through the consequences, but fighting for love isn’t wrong either.
I have a very genuine question.Does MDL rating affect a Drama in anyway? Like does it have effects on the awards,…
I think ratings really influence whether people decide to watch a show or not. I watched this one mainly because of JCW, but some people just read the synopsis which honestly doesn’t help much, and then see the ratings which might affect their decision. I’ve watched plenty of dramas with low ratings that turned out to be way better than the highly rated ones, but I guess it all comes down to personal taste.
